Gentiva Hospice

Gentiva provided excellent care for my 92 yr old mother. They were available by phone 24 hours a day, supporting the family as well as my mother. The nurses were angels to us. Any and all questions and concerns were addressed immediately. They came several times on weekends and during the night. The weekly aide was very gentle in bathing my mother. Everyone from Gentiva addressed Mom by name, and explained who they were and what they were going to do even when she appeared unconscious. Everyone took the time to get to know all of us. Gentiva was essential in getting the facility where Mom lived to take proper care of her and get her drugs properly administered. At the end m, they explained to us what to expect, which took a lot of the fear away and gave us a bit of a heads up. At the end, the final nurse kindly stayed with us until Mom was taken away. We will never forget their kindness and care during a very difficult time.

Gentiva hospice provided great care for my father during our family’s most difficult days. My family was most grateful and relieved after Adam helped us understand hospice services, which relieved our anxiety. The nurses were compassionate and understanding. We are forever thankful for this exceptional team of people.

Everyone at Gentiva was caring and showed great empathy during the time that my Mom was living with me under hospice care. I could tell that the service they provide is not a job but a calling to serve not only the patient but the family as well.
