The Washington Literacy Center is a GREAT place to learn. The staff was GREAT and I learned something new everyday. I met a great group of people in my class. But the staff was really GREAT from Mr. Jimmie Williams, Dr. Terrell Danley, Melody Brown(Ms. MiMi) and Tyesha our Bartending Instructor and the guest speakers we had and a BIG thank you to Diageo for helping by offering Learning Skills for Life and The Professional Bartending School in Arlington, Virginia for letting the students practice on Fridays. It was such a Great experience that I will continue to use throughout my career in The Hospitality Industry. Again thank you all. Leonard Moore Mr. Lenny as everyone called me

The P.B DC Free School--- honest review,( I wish I saw. ) .... It was a lot of yelling, people talking over the teachers, crying having emotional meltdowns, arguing almost fist fighting and if that's not the environment you're accustomed to being in-- the school is not for u. The literacy part has a lot of interesting games but it was more teachers than students. I would not dare put on a resume I went there. I got TIP S and after today I will not be calling back for the TAM© which a lot of bars are not associated with. I would NOT have went if I saw an honest review but like all things it may be a perfect environment for someone else.
