After a month at Coterie Cathedral Hill, I have a generous sense of belonging. The Staff’s dedication and attention to detail make all the difference. Each day is filled with energy. Whether enjoying a delicious meal, working out at the gym, watching a movie or sharing a cup of coffee it is all part of a wonderful experience. And yet, the elegant surroundings and attentive services create a sense of ease that lets you relax. Coterie Cathedral Hill is certainly my safe haven, my happy place, my home.

From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely well cared for. Complimentary valet parking, warm greetings at the door, and a beautiful, modern interior set the tone for an exceptional experience. The Sales Director and Executive Director were both remarkably helpful and accommodating, taking the time to answer every question with care.
The urban location offers easy access to everything San Francisco has to offer, while the facility itself feels like a high-end hotel. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the stunning rooftop and pool to the well-equipped gym. The activities, dining, and services are exactly what you would want for a loved one, and the studio designs are among the best I have seen.
Overall, this is a community that combines thoughtful hospitality with elegant design, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Coterie Cathedral Hill is truly stunning. From the moment you walk in, you are struck by the elegance of the shared spaces and the beautifully designed apartment homes. The entire community feels welcoming, and thoughtfully created.
What makes it even more exceptional is the staff. Everyone is professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making residents feel comfortable and cared for.
The move-in process, which can often feel overwhelming, was made remarkably smooth thanks to Caitrin Durrel and Amanda Adams. They are the perfect combination of warm, approachable, and incredibly organized.
Their clear communication, flexibility, and willingness to help, makes a huge difference in what can be a stressful transition into a truly positive experience.
Coterie Cathedral Hill sets a very high standard for assisted living — elegant, supportive, and run by a team that clearly cares.

Went on a scouting mission to Coterie cathedral hill for my parents, who are getting up there in age… and wow. The facilities are amazing. I’ve got a friend who parents live here that recommended it to us, but didn’t really expect it to be so nice. Gym, had everything you could want, views of downtown everywhere, and the common rooms were done to the nines. The folks running the facility were so nice, and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We chatted with a couple of the residents and they gushed about the staff, which I took a took as a huge positive. We tried a meal at one of the dining rooms, and it felt just like we were out at a nice restaurant. Food was quite good, and it looked like the residents were enjoying themselves. Best part, through were the rooms. Really nice, and again those views. I don’t have the final say for my folks, but this is where I want to be.

I recently visited my dear friend and from what she has told me about this facility and the pictures that she has shared with me, I am absolutely disgusted. Her sinuses were been acting up and she did a little bit of investigating to find out why her sinuses were acting up. She checked her furnace too since she saw that other residents had dirty filters from over two years ago, from some of the employees finally changing out a few filters. She was able to get a few other photos from other residents.
Besides the filters being as bad as they are I also noticed the floors in the main dining room be severely scratched and poorly maintained.
She told me that a friend of hers that lives within the facility was having issues with her outlet always causing the breaker to trip every morning. She tried to get it fixed multiple times by the maintenance department and requested that electrician came out to check on it by the maintenance manager, whose name is Mathew Rad, told her that she was just that she was just causing issues.
She has told me that the elevators constantly are having issues one time she got stuck in an elevator and was stuck for over an hour.
I’m very disappointed with this facility and the way it treats it’s residence.
