Mr. Joy and his team are wonderful to work with. I met with David twice and he was able to able to help me make choices for our monument that truly reflect my husband and I. Our song and a picture of us together on IRB are inscribed on the back and our names and the tree of life on the front. He helped me to make the best decision for the granite (hubs loved black) and still keep it affordable for my budget. I highly recommend this locally owned company.

Losing a love one , especially a son is the most tragic experience a mother can endure. From the beginning Joy Monument made sure that my son’s monument would symbolize my son’s transition to the afterlife.. I was not expecting it to be ready until the end of May, but on Sunday Mother’s Day my surviving son and were surprised to finally see the stone at the cemetery. My son exclaimed how beautiful it was and as we were approaching it sure enough it was there for me to see and feel. David made sure to outline each detail and place a sketching of my son. I felt as though my son was smiling at us. It was the best gift. Thank you for caring and embracing us with your wisdom that helped us add the details to the monument. Joy Monument worked with me to design a spectacular headstone for my mother. David L. managed our account and the details of our design and execution. I cannot explain how much this company, their work ethic, and their flexibility was life affirming in a time that we were dealing with such an intense grief. My review is a few years coming, but every time I look at my mothers headstone I see a work of art that really reminds me of her and is so very unique. Our budget was not extravagant, but our taste was. David began the conversation saying he wanted to do something different, since it sounded like my mom was a vibrant woman. She was and her favorite color was orange. We ended up using orange cut glass as a way to mimic sunshine and the cut of the stone was also not run of the mill. The design was amazing! I worried that they would not fully execute it well but I needn’t have. They did exceptional, on time work. Any questions were answered quickly and efficiently. I’m so happy with our headstone. The pride David took in designing a fairly low-budget piece and the enthusiasm he had for serving our family really did not go unnoticed. I hope he is still with he company because he delivered top notch service and quality. So glad I chose this company. For the record, my mother passed 2014, we had her headstone installed the week of her one year anniversary of her passing in 2015. It’s been 3 years but her headstone is simply timeless.
