Their staff is highly trained and works seamlessly with other care providers to ensure the best possible care for their clients. As a private home care company, I can confidently say that Heartland Hospice Company is an exceptional partner to work with.

My mom passed away in 2014, I can say that Heartland took care of mom and us from the day she left the hospital until death! Always dependable! Very compassionate staff! They became family for the short period of time! The blue book they gave us, help us a whole lot! Me and my sisters are very grateful for Heartland during my mom last days with us! We forever grateful! Though is was difficult and still is! We had peace!

The experience was bad from the start. No communication. Then the nurse practitioner came to see my mom. She announced right in front of her that she was skin and bones, talked baby talk to her and wondered why my mother would not communicate with her. Then went into the other room and asked me if she was a psych patient. So unprofessional.

My mother had terminal cancer recently and when we decided to go with Heartland Hospice for her care. I'm very grateful to Heartland and especially our nurse, Tina who really cared, made us feel at ease and helped us during this difficult time. Tina came to us in the hospital at 7-8PM at night, so we could fill out the necessary paperwork so that my mom could leave and go home. She was very relieved to find out that she did not have to stay another night at the hospital. We were able to set up my mom at home and we received the support, pain meds, equipment, etc. that we needed. Tina was there 9 days later as my mom's condition worsened and stayed til well after she passed. We also had a chaplin, nurses assistant and social worker come to see us during that time. I very grateful for their support as well. I'd recommend Heartland to anyone that has to make the difficult choice for hospice care for their loved one.
