We are truly grateful that we chose Metropolitan Crematorium during such a painful and overwhelming time in our lives. Mr. Timothy Cunningham provided a level of compassion, patience, and professionalism that brought comfort when we needed it most. He guided us with kindness, answered every question with care, and treated our loved one with the dignity and respect every family hopes for. In the midst of our grief, he made us feel supported, understood, and never rushed. We will always remember the grace he showed our family, and we are deeply thankful for the service he provided.

Tim Cunningham was a great person . He handle my husband's cremation process. He was very informative and very knowledgeable.Even though it was a sad process he made us feel comfortable. I strongly recommend his business. Thank you

In anticipation of my mother's passing, I walked in, not knowing that typically appointments are made. The earliest time available was later that afternoon,. Mr. Timothy overheard the conversation, stopped what he was doing, came out of his office and met with me on the spot. The day my mother passed, the staff member who prepared and transported my mother was so very kind. I was shown such support and caring during one of the most difficult times of my life. I am so appreciative of the service provided to me. I will forever be grateful for Mr. Timothy and all the staff. I am so glad that the community has this facility.

My brother-in-law passed away on Sunday night, November 16th, 2025. On Monday morning, November 17th, I reached out to five crematoriums to compare costs and services. Tim Cunningham returned my call within thirty minutes, and we scheduled a consultation meeting for that afternoon! Tim is not only an expert in this field but also kind, empathetic, and personable; He never once tried to convince me to select a package that was not financially feasible. His cremation packages are far below any of the others that I had researched. Within an hour, the paperwork was signed, I paid for the services, provided him with the obituary that I had written, and the process was complete. He contacted me the next day to tell me that one of his employees was on his way to Raleigh to pick up my brother-in-law's body. He sent me a copy of the obituary once it had been posted. Without reservations, I would highly recommend Metropolitan Crematorium and Tim Cunningham to anyone in need of these services. Tim, you are a shining light during some very dark and uncertain times.
