General William Tecumseh Sherman Monument

My only critique is he didn’t burn enough of the south.

Small monument honoring General William Tecumseh Sherman. It was a little confusing at first with all the security fencing, but once you realize the "do not enter" signs mean do not enter the grass,l and not the monument or it's sidewalks then the confusion goes away.

We got to do a white house tour and this is at the entry.

Nice monument! Couldn't get up closer, it was blocked off when I was here.

What a wonderful monument to one of this country’s finest military leaders. Though it is a few feet away from one of Washington’s busiest streets, access is restricted and off limits. Amazing. We have grown to be such a fearful country. No wonder a rising generation has no idea who these figures are! Pathetic and shameful.
