Talk about giving back to the community! When my son made Eagle Scout along with his official documents was a form from them offering to make a free marker for his project. There was no timeline, given as they fit it in when they can. We were expecting something small. What he got instead was a beautiful 2 ft wide, 18 inch tall, 86 pound monument. We were both speechless. I wish I could show a picture of itThank you so much!!

They removed a bronze date from my grandmother’s grave, lost it, then billed us for their negligence. They also billed us for a permit to the cemetery, which they never paid to the cemetery, then changed the charge to an ‘inspection fee’ on the final invoice. Sketchy. ETA: we also have pictures, which reflects differently. Perhaps we can set up a meeting to review our records against yours. We’ve been trying to connect with Matt since January of this year and he has, unfortunately, not responded regarding this very alarming situation. Forest Lawn themselves said that the permit fee was unpaid - I would call them about that directly. You’re free to call me at any point to set up this meeting. Best of luck to you all.

My family had used DePue in the past, and we knew exactly what we wanted and where our marker was to be placed. After months of trying to connect with Matthew, we took our business elsewhere. Wish we had done it sooner. Bereavement of loved ones is tough enough already, without being made to feel like your family's needs don't matter. Would not recommend, unless a staffing change is made.

I would give Matthew Lee a zero if I could. Horrible customer service. He does not respond to emails. He is the only one who runs the department and can answer questions. No one in the office can help. Paid in Full in February for my father's footstone $762. No follow-up from Matthew and it is May. This is a sensitive business and he has no sense of customer service. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

Customer service is awful. They don't respond to phone calls or emails. Promises, promises but all lies. Numerous times I am told they would send picture of the stone for my mother after engraving. This has been going on since October. They promised to have it installed before Christmas. I'm still waiting. It's been 16 months. Every time I call, Matt is out sick. No one else can help me. Sounds like a one man operation, not a company. I would not recommend them.
