Simplicity Cremation Ohio

We live out of state and sadly my husband passed away at Cleveland Clinic. The hospital recommended Simplicity and the reviews were great so I chose them. From the start communication was not great. I had to call for every step of the way. The only call I received was when someone used the option to send flowers, the option sends them to the funeral home. I live 4 hours away so I asked if they could be donated to a senior center but he said it was a plant arrangement and he could water them until I came to pick up my husband. I had to ask again about ordering death certificates and was told I would get an email with a link in about a week. A week and a half later I called because I did not receive an email and there had been no communication with any of the steps involved with the cremation. For all I knew my husband was still in the morgue. This time when I called I spoke to Nicole. She was amazing! She apologized for the lack of communication and updated me on where my husband was in the process. She then told me I could order the certificates right from their website. Why wasn't I originally told that?! She called me two days later to let me know I could come pick up my husband. I went the next day and Lauren helped me. She was also very kind. I asked about the plant arrangement, she told me she couldn't find it. An gentleman was there and said what probably happened was it looked a little withered and the cleaning crew threw it out. He offered to send me a new arrangement. I said that would be wonderful. That arrangement never came.

Simplicity was a great choice for me. I was shocked at the prices that other funeral homes were charging for cremation. This is a tough time losing a loved one and simplicity made it more affordable and less stressful for me.

Everything was very simple, you pay they slay,,the job was done with in week or two i was amaze you came up with an obituary, even i didn't provide...

Very respectful and outgoing. They helped us through the difficult time. The passing was so unexpected and the cost was reasonable. they did not try to price gouge like other companies. they went above and beyond

The staff here took care of everything for me. I have never done a direct cremation before. The process was very easy. They made my loved one presentable for viewing following an autopsy. They helped me with the death certificates and the price was very affordable. They were very caring and sensitive to a time for picking up the remains that would not interfere with another family viewing their loved one. I felt respected and cared for and would recommend this business.
