The staff that works at Elose’s food bank are wonderful people. They care about the people who go there for food. If you have an emergency and you have to leave. They will help in any way they can. Thank you for all you guys do.

I strongly advise anyone considering renting from Making a Difference Foundation to proceed with extreme caution. They assumed the lease from their original property management company, "Twin Bridges." Shortly after assuming the lease as the owner of the property, I was billed for HOA dues that were never disclosed in my lease and not authorized in any signed agreement. When I raised concerns, the organization retroactively changed the due date of the charge to make it appear as though it had always been due earlier. For reference, under Revised Code of Washington RCW 59.18.060 and RCW 59.18.140, landlords cannot impose new or undisclosed fees after a lease is signed. HOA dues are legally the owner’s responsibility, not the tenant’s, unless clearly agreed upon in the lease. I have since involved Sound Legal Aid to protect my rights. As a disabled veteran, these repeated attempts to collect unauthorized fees feel both predatory and unethical. If you value transparency and fair treatment, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This organization’s practices raise serious red flags, and tenants should be cautious before signing anything. ⚠️ Bottom line: If a landlord or management company is willing to retroactively bill unauthorized fees once, they may do it again. Document everything and know your rights.

It has truly been a pleasure volunteering with this Foundation. The CEO and her staff provide exceptional service for many people. Some of the outstanding work they provide is to individuals who need food - including growing fresh vegetables, veterans, scholarships and missionary service. You can talk about making a difference or we can make a difference. And this is exactly what the people at this foundation does; they make a difference in the lives of many people. Awesome foundation!

Making a difference foundation is truly a place where people’s lives are changed on a regular basis. The program's that are offered are considerate with care and open arms. The homes for veterans program is truly a life changer for any veteran that wants the assistance with getting their life back on track. This is truly the best program I have heard of yet to help veterans get back on their feet. I believe in the programs offered through this company, I believe in this company. They have a food bank that serves people food no matter where you come from, whenever the food bank is open anyone can go get good unexpired healthy food, fresh vegetables grown from their own private garden, organic food and vegetables, household products, diapers, shoes, gloves, dog food, cat food, shampoo, soap, hygiene and female products. Whatever a family or individual requests and they have it, it is yours. They also deliver food to disabled, sick, shut in, veterans and to homeless individuals. Thank you Making a Difference Foundation for changing our lives.
