Joe Raso Hospice Residence

My mother received exceptional care at Joe Raso hospice facility. The staff was compassionate and attentive, the facility was clean and peaceful, and the chef-prepared meals were a thoughtful comfort. We were deeply grateful for the kindness shown to both my mother, me and the rest of our family during a very difficult time.

My dad stayed at Joe Raso for seven weeks, until he passed on November 11. There are truly no words big enough to express the gratitude my family and I feel. From the moment he arrived, every person there cared for him with dignity, kindness, and love. They supported him, and us, with a level of compassion that we will never forget. The facility itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained. It has a quiet and calm atmosphere that made us feel comforted. It never felt clinical, but instead was filled with warmth. We want to especially acknowledge Diane, whose kindness and guidance meant so much to us. Kelly and Jean were incredibly special to my dad, and their gentleness, humor, and care brought him comfort and peace through his hardest days. Beyond those names, we want to thank every single nurse, aide, volunteer, and staff member. Everyone treated him like someone they truly cared about, and that is something our family will carry forever. We are deeply thankful that his final weeks were spent in a place filled with love. Last month, my friend's father was admitted to Joe Raso's hospice, and I found the facility to be clean and comfortable. With only 10 beds, each family receives proper attention and timely assistance. While some staff members could benefit from a refresher on bedside manners and reading body language, I would still recommend this hospice overall. In my line of work, I deal with multiple hospice residences, including Joe Raso, and they are highly regarded.

I can’t even express how compassionate the staff at Joe Raso are. My mother in law was there from July 8th 2024 until she passed away July 11th 2024 and the way she was treated and the family was unbelievable. This place is so peaceful.
