Decades ago, our aunt made arrangements for cremation. Dignity Memorial’s San Francisco Columbarium & Funeral Home fulfilled all their promises. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and we are grateful.

The team at the San Francisco Columbarium & Funeral Home provided excellent support my family during a challenging moments in our lives. From our very first conversation, everyone we spoke with was kind, gentle, and deeply compassionate. They took care of every detail of the cremation with professionalism and respect, making sure we never felt rushed or alone in the process. The Columbarium itself is a peaceful and beautiful place.

My parents are happily together again at the SF Columbarium with all of their favorites. Crystal Hoffman is very responsive and accommodating.

In this truly beautiful resting place, my dear father — who fled the war in our homeland and never found peace there — has finally found his eternal peace. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of the columbarium for their warmth, care, patience, and calm support toward me, a foreigner who does not speak English, and for their kind assistance in completing all the burial arrangements. My special thanks go to Alan Chu, Family Service Counselor, for his kindness, compassion, and outstanding professionalism. This place radiates a deep sense of serenity and peace. I have seen columbaria in different countries, but this one is truly exceptional — a place of dignity, beauty, and heartfelt reverence for those who have passed. My deepest and endless gratitude to everyone who helps preserve this sacred tranquility.

Said good bye to a friend in this beautiful place just a few hundred feet from bustle of the city a literal oasis in the concrete jungle of San Francisco. The impressive structure was built in 1898 but kept up meticulously like the first day it was opened if that's possible. There are 4 levels containing thousands that choose this as their final resting place for eternity. I was told by the very kind director that a little girl that died and rests here had been afraid of the dark so a special light was installed and is always stays on for her. Among the famous people here is Harvey Milk and the reverend Cecil Williams has reserved his place for his final resting place.
