The Social Affair

The Social Affair was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding! From the communication, to the food, to the decor—they truly made our wedding day feel so special from start to finish. From the very beginning, when we shared that we wanted Filipino and Chinese elements incorporated into the menu, their team worked so thoughtfully to create dishes that honored both of our heritages in such a meaningful and delicious way. We had so many guests come up to us throughout the night saying how amazing the food was! Our cake was also absolutely stunning and tasted just as incredible as it looked. Beyond the food and decor, what stood out most was how genuinely caring their team was. Throughout the day, multiple members of their staff took the time to check in on us and congratulate us. Those small moments meant so much and made us feel incredibly supported and celebrated. The Social Affair truly went above and beyond in every possible way, and we are so grateful they were part of our wedding day!

Working with The Social Affair was a no brainer for our wedding in April! Not only is the food incredible but the service is top tier. Kelly, Liz, Brad, Kai, and Yaz went above and beyond for us and our guests. They made sure our guests with dietary considerations were full with food they could eat and made sure we had a plate of our hors d'oeuvres available since we were busy chatting during cocktail hour. Our guests are still raving about the food 8 months later. Our stations were beautifully integrated into the space. They took our colors and flowers and designed the table to be a work of art - which fit our art museum venue perfectly:) It was my birthday as well as our wedding day and Kelly worked with my dad to surprise me with a cupcake during his speech! If we had to use one word to describe our experience with The Social Affair, it would be extraordinary.

Where do we even begin! We booked the Social Affair for our wedding, and we had the MOST AMAZING experience with them! When we say that our wedding day would not have been everything we dreamed of without them, we mean it. This entire team was amazing to work with. We originally booked them for bar services, cocktail hour services, as well as setting up the entire venue, then at the very last minute (2 days before the wedding) we needed a new wedding. coordinator to step in, and Sandra stepped in without hesitation or us even asking her to. She dropped everything, started making calls, and putting everything in motion. She took every fear and worry that we had away, and we felt in such good hands with her and her team fully in control of the event. It was such a breath of fresh air working with them because they made us feel calm at every moment, always greeted us with hugs and smiles, and felt like family all weekend. Even our guests kept complimenting us on how great The Social Affair team was. We would like to give a special thank you to Sandra, who truly lead this amazing team and took full control of everything to allow us to have the most peaceful, relaxing and beautiful wedding day. We 100/10 would recommend the social affair to anyone. Whether it’s a wedding, special event, or just a catering services, they are THE team for the job. Their services were truly the best investment we made for our wedding!

The Social Affair did such a wonderful job catering our wedding. From the very first meeting, Social Affair completely customized our menu to reflect what we liked to eat as a couple. It was so fun having our favorite foods in an elevated way. We had so many compliments about how great the food was too!

I have been in the wedding industry for 13 years and therefore, I eat quite a bit of dinners at weddings. This is the first time I am taking the time to write a review. The Social Affair did an incredible job at a recent wedding of mine. Their Signature marinated beef tenderloin was some of the best tenderloin I have ever had. The garlic shrimp was delicious and I even asked what the odds were to get the recipe of the shaved brussel sprouts. Very impressed! I look forward to working with The Social Affair as often as possible!
