This place needs to be shut down. Facility is not kept well at all. Roach infested in residents rooms & kitchen. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! Workers are lazy & useless. I don’t know why they are up & running. It’s sad to say, but this place is the fastest way to rid of a loved one. I wouldn’t even give it a ONE star, but have to in order for my review to be posted 🤦🏽‍♀️

Recently put my mom here and been super pleased with the facility and the staff. Very nice , patient and courteous folks and amenities are great. Food is really good and my mom seems to be fitting in nicely. I am very very pleased

As a mobile primary care medical group that visits Vista Del Mar Assisted Living every day and has partnered with them for over 7 years, we can truly say that the VDM staff is very kind and compassionate. You can see that they genuinely care about each person and treat them like family. Because we work closely with their team every day, we experience their strong communication firsthand. They are always quick to notify us when a resident needs attention, which allows us to step in promptly and provide medical care, helping residents stay safe, comfortable, and avoid unnecessary hospital visits. Also, we see they engage their residents in a lot of activities. If you are exploring care options for a loved one, this is truly a place where it feels like home with onsite mobile geriatric care. And lastly, the Administrator Suzette and Resident Director Sidonia (both amazing!) have been there for many many years which says a lot about how leadership treats their staff and if they treat their staff this well, one can imagine how good they treat their residents. Also, their Memory care director, Juanita, is on top of her patients like a hawk! Good luck with your search and feel free to reach out to me if I can be of any assistance.

I am very disappointed with the conditions at this facility. There has been a consistent roach infestation that has not been properly addressed, despite staff being made aware of the issue multiple times. This is especially concerning in a senior living environment where health and cleanliness should be top priorities. In addition to the pest problem, the staff is often not present or available when residents need assistance. This lack of supervision and support raises serious safety concerns for the seniors living there. I am sharing this review in hopes that the facility will take immediate action to resolve these issues, as the residents deserve a clean, safe, and properly staffed environment. Until improvements are made, I cannot recommend this location.

Senior Living has a broad definition and so many facilities are available. Did a lot of visits, tours, research before finding this facility. For my family member it is the perfect mix of feeling like a home, care from the staff, and the sense of independence (for now) which is important. There are always multiple staff members around to help when I have a question or when I visit. In general the facility rooms are larger, there seems to be more space for residents to roam, and lots of natural outdoor space as well as light. Time will tell, but at this time I am so happy this was the right choice for my family member.
