Taste of the Town Catering

Our guests had nothing but glowing praise for our wedding bbq buffet. I was so pleased with every step of the process, and couldn’t be happier with choosing Taste of the Town for our big day. Kameron, Bernard, and Jay were incredible staff, super efficient, and friendly. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Taste of the Town Catering did an absolutely AMAZING job at our wedding (about 235 guests)! The food was incredible. Literally every single guest I talked to mentioned how good it was. We chose the BBQ Buffet and the Fresh Fruit Display, and they went above and beyond by arranging the fruit beautifully around our custom ice sculpture. So many people went back for seconds (and there was plenty for seconds) that by the end of the night the food was almost completely gone... just a few drumsticks left, which tells you how much everyone loved it! On top of the delicious food, their team was so thoughtful and accommodating. As a special thank you, they even sent us home with a very large charcuterie box (enough to feed the whole wedding party, wow). It was such a kind and unexpected touch. If you’re looking for a caterer that will impress every single guest and treat you with incredible care, I can’t recommend Taste of the Town Catering enough. They truly made our wedding reception unforgettable!

We just had our 40th HS reunion at the Fabulous Fifties Hall with catering by Taste of the Town Catering. Chef Jimmy, Cameron, and Bernard did an outstanding job! From beginning to end, it was so easy to work with this crew. Hats off to Chef Jimmy! Food was fantastic and the service was even better. So many compliments. Cameron took care of every need, and Bernard was fun and tended to quenching everyone's thirst. Recommend the catering for all your events. The venue is spacious and perfect for specific events, they have everything you need. If there had been AC in the building, this would have been a 5 star review!

Taste of the Town Catering saved my wedding. My wedding was on Vashon Island, and the South end Tahlequah/Point Defiance Ferry boat went down due to a lack of crew at 7am. Tyler had texted and was on the phone with me, working on a solution by 8 am. We found an alternate route, and he kept me updated with the departure and estimated arrival times of both cars. His team easily worked double time, but you know, I never felt any doubt that he would be there. I owe them a huge thank you and encourage any future brides/grooms/events to consider Taste of the Town Catering as your vendor. We had the Rainier Buffet with Samosas, Prime Rib and Salmon.

Fabulous Fifties Hall and Taste of the Town Catering were amazing! They handled my father’s celebration of life. It was a very tough time for us and they did everything possible to make to occasion perfect. The food was delicious. We had plenty of help setting up and during the event. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. My dad would have loved it. My husband’s company also used them for events and they have never disappointed. Highly recommend!
