I was very impressed with all the care & arrangements that Gunderson did for my wifes celebration of life. They didn't miss a single detail. they were so caring & compassionate. I was especially impressed with there offerings for aftercare as this can be very difficult for a surviving spouse to navigate. I give them an A+++ & definitely recommend there services.

Gunderson Funeral Home went above and beyond our expectations for our daughter's Celebration of Life (COL). Todd, James, Skylar and Joe showed genuine compassion, professionalism and attention to detail. They listened to and met all our needs as we made a COL that reflected our daughter. Skylar personally shopped for the fixings of Gabby's Coffee Bar! The room was set up perfectly, and everyone helped the flow of people that came to pay their respect. There was nothing for us to do, they did everything! They knew what we needed before we did. But they also were attentive to our guests needs. They helped everyone have a chance to talk to a member of the family, provided Elmer, (a companion/service dog) to greet people and offered comfort to everyone. It was the worst time in our lives, but Gunderson provided everything we needed to make it through. Even afterwards, they are still checking on us. Todd, thank you for comforting and guiding us. James, thank you for listening and making her beautiful and treating her with such respect. Skylar, thank you for being amazing at what you do! You genuinely care and it shows in everything you did and said to us. You showed real interest in our daughter and family and we will forever be grateful to you! I recently attended a service for a good friend's mother at Gunderson, I was there early to help her with set up and everything and the staff were phenomenal. Not only so understanding and supportive of the grief the family was experiencing but also amazing at preemptively anticipating the needs of the family. Having lost my own father many years ago and experiencing his service, I was incredibly grateful to see how supportive the staff were. My friend expressed that in the planning they were also incredibly supportive and understanding and just so amazing while guiding her and her sister through the heart wrenching process laying their mother to rest. I just want to thank you guys so much for providing that for my friend and her family. And thank you guys for providing such an amazing service for her mother.

The staff at Gunderson Funeral Home were knowledgeable, helpful, organized and efficient. A special thank you to Kasey Wilson. She spent the time with our family to plan every detail with such caring and patience. She helped us express who mom truly was. Also special thanks to Kat from the print team, who did a beautiful job with the artwork for mom’s service. The Aftercare program was also very helpful to make sure we covered all bases, pertaining to the estate and legal aspects of our loss.
