Smaller than I expected. But very well put together. It's absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

The memorial is well done and very descriptive! My son and I read every piece and watch videos from the qr scan. If you want to visit to read a piece of history, this is the place to go!

I was in KC for a softball tournament and stopped by this gem between games. Beautiful memorial with descriptive timeline of the day's events, artistic fountain, piece of steel from the towers and interactice plaque. Definitely worth the stop to reflect on a dark day in American history and reflect on how thankful we should all be.

I first came to this sight in July of 2021 and was very moved!! So now driving through in November of 2024 I just had to stop again. To actually see the beam and read all the beautiful names is all very moving. To see the displays and the way it's put into words is remarkable. God bless all of those who had a part in putting this memorial together. And to all that choose to serve to protect, thank you! May God always be with you!

A phenomenal tribute to the courage and memory of the 2,977 who were killed on September 11, 2001. From the piece of steel girder salvaged from the wreckage to the plaque engraved with all the victim's names to the four large panels that describe, in detail, the chronology and events of each portion of the overall disaster that day. I was moved and inspired as I spent about 30 minutes in this sacred place, taking it all in and contemplating this horrific event, and its savage impact on so many lives. Made me yearn for those days when we were a united people in this country.
