Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary

1/23/26 We had a wonderful funeral service and viewing for my dad last year. Its been 9 months since that day and I am now facing incredible lack of compassion, consideration, respect, and support!!! There are certain rules for gravsite decorations and I totally understand that. However, those of us who decorate, also pick up EVERYTHING on our scheduled clean up day! The problem is that the office has no communication skills. The managers or whoever is enforcing the rules has not taken the time to be a considerate professional and contact the families of the deceedents to notify them of any changes or updates!!! They claim that they don't send out mass emails or make phone calls! So what they do instead is throw away every decoration, which is of sentimental value to us, without a care about our feelings or respect to our deceased loved ones! Decorating makes the gravsite look nice as well as the cemetery! Going to visit a loved one brings a smile to the family when we see how beautiful and colorful the grave looks. Instead of seeing a somber, sad, cold grave! I've been coming to this cemetery for almost a year and in the area where my dad is resting, I have seen how we all follow the rules, we take down everything the days before clean up day and then return the following day to place items back. My issue is with management. They have failed to provide information and have set rules, yet they have not kept the area where my dad is, clean. There is always liter along the fence, and there is a whole area with open access to the trolley area that has not been finished! I always see people crossing through from the outside! If this is private property then MAKE IT PRIVATE!!!!! CLOSE IT UP!! Management wants us all to follow rules and guidelines without providing US with proper communication, cleanliness, and privacy!!! My next step will be to contact upper management at their corporate office to let them know about this lack of consideration and more than anything else to show them how unkept this place can get and to request safety by completing the fencing to put a stop to trespassing!!! Update 3/26/26 They finally put up a fence in the area where people were crossing, but they haven't finished it. People are still crossing further down where there's no fence!
