Husband spent 7 total days there. One day to move in he left to go to Alder Care Hospice on day 7 passed away the next day We then cleaned his room out on Sunday so a total occupancy of 12 days. The worst 7 days ever. He was in constant pain screamed every night in pain. We were told the pain would be controlled which it wasn’t. They were told he needed assistance with feeding as he couldn’t feed himself. I Came in one morning to see him in a wheelchair, they stuck a fork in his frail hand to feed himself. Juice was all over his tray and dripping on the floor. He was left sleeping in his chair in a hallway all by himself They messed up the refund of the $$ I paid upon his arriving. There was a so called $3000 “Maintenance “ fee that was non refundable for any damage they had to fix after he left. We hung no pictures, tv was not mounted to the wall. We left the place cleaner than when we arrived and they refused to do a partial refund of that ridiculous fee. First refund check they sent me was short by almost $700. I had to send a detailed account of how it should have been figured. After a month they finally sent a second check for the rest of my refund but still refused to send a partial refund for the maintenance fee I paid. The Hoyer lift charge was $1,000 a month Terrible. For the 12 days we actually occupied the place with him only being there 7 days we paid over $6881 for his 7 day stay. Pretty damn expensive. Please do your research. That Maintenance fee is a terrible amount to pay. Sadly I got took unfortunately

The building is clean and it’s got a true taste southern hospitality to it. If I ever have to move a loved one into a facility this is the place I would choose.
