To our nurse Ana Garcia — thank you for your steady presence, your skill, and the gentle way you explained things when we needed to understand what was happening. You made us feel safe. To our CNA Yanin Gil — thank you for the dignity and tenderness you brought to the most personal moments of care. Your warmth meant more than you know. To the on-call nurses Joan Pena and Erick thank you for being there in the middle of the night and in our most uncertain hours. Knowing help was only a phone call away was a comfort beyond measure. To the chaplain Juan Carlos— thank you for sitting with us in the hard questions, for the prayers, and for holding space for whatever we were feeling without judgment. To the social worker Ralph thank you for guiding us through paperwork, decisions, and emotions we didn’t know how to navigate. You carried so much of the weight we couldn’t. To the massage therapist Yolanda Vishal— thank you for the gift of comfort through touch, for the moments of peace and relief you provided when nothing else could reach. You are doing sacred work.
