"*Sigh* Okay you don't need to know my name," is what the rude and entitled really-youngish sounding female staff said over the phone to me, after talking over me, cutting off my sentences, not answering my questions clearly, because she would not let me speak clearly...furthermore, I said I wasn't "sos'ed" from the other shelter, also under their umbrella company, but she still rudely re-mentioned anyway, just for the shaming sake of it (and denied that too), that she had a right to re-iterate that also, while ALSO trying to throw off all of my question back to said previous shelter anyway, even though I am trying to enter their overflow tonight, where I would meet her, and also this being the same over-flow shelter I was at just a week ago. All this I told her with many interruptions. Furthermore, she was completely unhelpful and overdid the "rules" with not letting me know when "G." would be back in, who I talked to at HER shelter just this Monday about related shelter issues, since he works at all three locations....So basically she just happily chose to "sabotage" my stay at Smith Road's overflow tonight, because she doesn't want to even give me her name, which is emotionally hostile, even when I clearly stated I'm trying to progress over into-overflow at her shelter...she just wants her way with not having me there, and yet it's so shallow. This is exactly what "G." and I talked about being an issue at Catholic Charities that needs to be resolved. Other staff members feel the same way too. People that enter these programs and their need to progress with some basic respect needs to matter more, rather than self-centered staff who are too over-protective about themselves and clearly have an entitled and judgmental attitude and inner dialogue towards homeless people that their jobs are actually supposed to be about helping out...I mean that's how they get their paycheck, but some of them really do act like they are all separate from that.

i was at my all time low and ended up in the catholic charities shelter. This one worker from the islands. I think her name was Emma, she worked on Smith Rd., but is sometimes at 48th. Anyways she was very kind and patient with all the ladies and was just a light of positivity. We appreciated her, we need more people like that. Its sad that we don't see her anymore. i wonder if she quit or got relocated somewhere else. Anyways, overall the shelter could use some cleaning up other than that i appreciated that i had a roof over my head and a warm meal!

Don't ever rent from this so-called non-profit agency. They don't care about their tenants. Especially their senior citizens. They only care about collecting the money. They won't fix our parking lot lights. This has been going on since last fall when they fired our maintenance man. They don't have a property manager here at our building. They don't clean up the trash around here, the residents do it. The inside trash receptacles get emptied maybe once a minute nth, the carpet in the halls and common are need to be vacuumed and shampooed. Again they don't care. They just want money and want to raise our rent almost $100. For what? So they can hire new help. Ha! You money hungry catholics can do that without raising the rent
