Signers' Memorial

Beautiful park and pond area! My boyfriend proposed to me near the signers memorial and it was very romantic!

Great place to visit right next to the National Mall. Instead of following the thicker crowds along the mall, enjoy a reflection of the Washington Monument in this area. The paths are more meandering through grassy areas and around the water. A small bridge takes you to the monument on an island surrounded by willows and ducks.

This is a serene place located on the Signer’s island which you can access through a wooden bridge. This memorial honors all those who signed the Declaration of Independence. You can find 56 signatures of those who signed the Declaration of Independence at this memorial. This place is very peaceful and serene with picturesque views.

Beautiful pond on the side of the reflection pond by the Lincoln Memorial and WW2 Memorial. There were a few food trucks parked by the water, and it caught our attention. Ducks swimming and just serene. Not a lot of people going over to look, but I would recommend you detour to take a look!

The Signers’ Memorial is nicely tucked in on an island within Constitution Gardens Pond which celebrates the 56 brave patriots who were risking everything by committing treason against the British Empire, for their rights and the freedom for their fellow citizens with a revolutionary idea of freedom for all. It is a beautiful location with a view of the Washington Monument. I highly recommend people visit this site.
