Martin Luther King Memorial is a must see in Washington DC. Seeing the memorial in the day is spectacular but seeing and reading the passages at night with the spotlights on it’s absolutely stunning and breathtaking. Read the passages as you walk near the title basin the home of the cherry trees. I am happy to see such a legendary moment created in my time

The memorial is a great place to visit during the day as well as at night. It is particularly stunning to see when Cherry 🌸 Blossoms are in full bloom, making it place where there is joy, yet reflection. The wall on each side shows quotes, encouraging that reflection.

Amazing experience. The photos don't do the monument justice. This man sacrificed so much to push this nation forward. Everyone should take the time to visit and actually read all the information and quotes. It makes you want to contribute more to the lives around you.

I’ve had the honor of visiting the memorial both during the day and at night. Both instances are beautiful. During the daytime is more ideal for pictures. The MLK memorial is about a 10 minutes walk from the Lincoln Memorial. So if you’re visiting one spot; it’s worth going to visit the other one. There are restrooms next to the memorial; which is nice. Also there is a rack for electric scooters and bicycles; in case you’re thinking about using them to move around. If you’re physically able to, I do recommend using e-bike or scooters to move around. There is no nearby vehicle parking, which is a bummer. But we used e-bikes/scooters when we came, so we didn’t worry about parking. Overall, the MLK Memorial is highly recommended.
