Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary

The staff at Chapel of the Chimes are outstanding. Karle helped and guided us through the entire process of the cremation of our son. The staff outdid themselves on the entire set up. They touched on every aspect of his life. We are so grateful for their patience, compassion, caring, and understanding throughout our ordeal.

From the first time that we walked into the chapel it was an extremely pleasant experience. Denise was kind and sympathetic and helped us with everything and was very considerate. The service was wonderful and I loved that we could bring our own things for the memory table. Chaplain Roy was exceptional with the service. Karle helped us when it was time to pick our loved one up and was just as sympathetic as Denise.

We recently worked with Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale and could not be more grateful for the care, compassion, and professionalism they provided throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, Alan, our Pre-Planning Advisor, was so kind, informative, and helpful in getting everything set in motion. His guidance gave us peace of mind as we began this journey. Karle, the Location Manager, was equally wonderful. She helped us with the obituary, guided us through scheduling, and made sure every detail was handled seamlessly. All of the staff took the time to learn about our father, grandfather, and friend so they could create a service that truly honored his life. The theme was centered around his Marine and Military service, and the level of detail was remarkable. From the music, tablecloths, centerpieces, floral design, to the carefully curated display filled with props that reflected who George was—it was all done with such thought and respect. The display in particular was so special, sparking heartfelt conversation and memories among family and friends. The service and cemetery arrangements went smoothly, and we were especially glad we chose to have escorts to the cemetery—it made everything quick, safe, and stress-free. Afterward, we received a copy of the slideshow and a photo book as keepsakes to carry George’s memory forward. The entire staff stood by our side every step of the way, always available for questions and support. They created not just a funeral, but a true celebration of life. We are deeply thankful to Chapel of the Chimes for making such a difficult time feel a little lighter through their compassion, attention to detail, and dedication to honoring our loved one. Thank you!

I cannot say enough wonderful words about Margaret Smith and the experience that we had when my father in law passed away. From the moment my mother in law and I sat down to speak with Margaret about arrangements, I immediately felt her empathy. She was thoughtful and thorough and arranged everything with such grace and ease. At such a difficult time in our lives, the process was made as easy as possible while giving the highest level of care and attention to each detail. Margaret went above and beyond to honor my father in law who was a Vietnam veteran. She arranged a special surprise for my Mother in law and invited the AZ patriot guard to salute and support their brother in arms as she arranged to pick up his ashes. They expressed their gratitude for my father in laws service and presented us with keepsake bracelets as another special way to honor him. We had decided to make arrangements for my father in law to be buried in Arlington cemetery. Margaret arranged all the paperwork and knew how to navigate the process to take yet again one more stress away from us. In the event that you need to make a call to arrange funeral services for your loved ones, I cannot think of any other place that I would look to. Thank you Margaret for arranging every detail and going above and beyond to honor such an important person in our lives.

Our family has used Chapel of the chimes throughout the years. They have always done a wonderful job. Margaret was amazing to work with. After my mom‘s passing, I didn’t know where to start or what to do and she made everything effortless from the minute we walked in. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed during a very difficult time. Her attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations. We brought in personal items that were important to my mom and she made an absolutely beautiful display. She helped us with every detail and made herself available even when she wasn’t working. Even after the service she checked in on me to make sure I was OK. I highly recommend chapel of the chimes and working with Margaret will be a blessing.
