Leading Light Counseling

We had high hopes going into therapy, but unfortunately this provider was not the right fit for our family. From the very beginning, we experienced ongoing billing issues due to delayed paperwork on the facility’s end. We were later asked to pay double co-pays per visit to “catch up,” even though the errors were not ours, which was frustrating and difficult to manage what exactly was being charged. Additionally, when the schedule changed temporarily due to sports commitments, I reached out to explain the situation. The therapist was quick to remove her from the schedule, which I understood. However, when I politely asked if she would be able to resume sessions once the commitment ended, I never received a response - even after following up. This lack of communication felt unprofessional and disappointing, especially given the importance of consistency and trust in a therapeutic relationship. Overall, while I respect the work therapists do, our experience with scheduling, billing, and communication made it clear this was not the right fit for us.

I am very disappointed in this facility. The gentleman that’s answers the phone and makes calls is very disrespectful when he talks to you. We were declined service because I refuse to put a debit/credit card on file. This is crazy I have never heard of having to put a card on file for any type of medical service. Also I’m sorry these places need to stop with the whole portal site and needing everything before you can get an appointment.

Kimberly is exceptional. She started seeing me at a hard time in my life and I can honestly say that I wasn’t 100% sure how I felt about counciling but she changed my perspective completely. She is easy to talk to, builds trust and is very observant. She listens and remembers things even I didn’t remember and it felt like she was present every time with how engaged she was. I would 100% recommend her to anyone. Thank you again for all of your help. 🤍

I went to leading light for a few months and was helped by Kimberly she was very nice made me feel comfortable every time I went in and really helped me out, she really listens to you and remembers everything you say which show she listens and really cares. Thank you for helping me

I would highly suggest Kimberly with Leading Light Counseling. Without going into details, she worked around work schedules, made us feel she was always available was very kind and works well with teenagers.
