“The food was beyond incredible, beyond expectations.” -all of our guests. B+B catered our 80-person wedding and we get non-stop complements from guests about how incredible the food tasted. They also mentioned how kind the staff was as many of our guest told us they struck up a conversation with the staff because the food was so good. B+B was a recommendation from our venue. We live out of state so we had one weekend to pick food when we visited Maine. They provided us with large portions of a sample dinner and my whole family agreed that this was the catering we needed. They were gracious in coordinating our selections and clear on the process from putting down a deposit to day of details. We also used their services to tend our open bar, providing us with a quantity amount and types of spirits to purchase. The day of the wedding we could smell what they were beginning to cook and knew it was going to be delicious. The staff congratulated us as we did some photos before the wedding. They coordinated the buffet dinner providing us with plated dinners so we could have ample time to eat. Absolutely the best choice! Throughout the night, every time I got a drink the bartenders were brining positive vibes and really enhancing the experience for us and our guests. Highly recommend for anyone that wants the best food and best service for a wedding. We recently had an event catered by bread + butter, and it could not have been better! The food was exactly as we’d hoped, and received rave reviews from our guests - they’re still talking about it days later! Working directly with Emma was great, she made it so easy to get everything organized in a short period of time, and she was super responsive via email as we were working through details. I highly recommend bread + butter if you need catering in the Portland, Maine area.

This is my second experience with Bread & Butter Catering and they did not disappoint! I hosted a party for 60+ people. I made a few dishes myself and ordered several from B&B. First of all, the food is delicious with a fresh take on classic dishes. The mixed raw and grilled veggies came beautifully presented with two dipping choices. I also ordered grilled chicken skewers, that had an aromatic spice and grilled chick peas. I would highly recommend both of these. It was such a relief to have a catering company do some of the food for this party. And the process was seamless. If I need catering in the future, I will definitely hire Bread & Butter Catering!

The Bread + Butter team were extremely easy and fun to work with, from the amazing tasting, to the communication before the wedding, to the wedding itself. The food was out of this world and there was nothing that they brought out that wasn’t delicious. They brought our vision of a wedding that felt more like a giant dinner party of all our closest friends and family to life with their fun, family style plating. We could not recommend Kelly, Emma, and the greater B+B team more!

I was part of a wedding party a few weeks ago and WOW! were we all so happy with the quality, preparation, and presentation of the food. Shout out to the roasted vegetable grazing board that was spot-on for the beautiful fall day. Dinner was served family style, which meant we all got to try a little bit of everything. Which was perfect because I don't know if I could have chosen just one entrée to enjoy! Staff was super friendly and attentive to us throughout the night, too.
