Set up my first appointment there's no receptionist there's no people working there it is a rented out office space in which people can meet up with therapist and counselors mine didn't even bother showing up no communication no nothing when I called them to see what was going on the lady on the other end basically had no way to contact the person and all they could offer me was rescheduling not a great way to start a new relationship with somebody who's trying to better their mental health I recommend looking somewhere else.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with several counselors, and I can genuinely say that John Coaxum is one of the best. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a therapist who is humble, wise, and authentically caring. We've only met twice to date, but I have left both sessions feeling like he treated our time together as something sacred—he created space for me to be myself while gently guiding me toward growth. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found him, and I believe anyone who works with him will feel the same.

I've had a great experience with Mariya in conjunction with Thrive works. She is professional and highly engaging. I had no idea what to expect and have heard all the negative things when it comes to marriage counseling. I'll admit I'm pleasantly surprised and I look forward to future visits.

I was super reluctant to start seeing a therapist. But in the fall of 2021 I decided to call Thriveworks based off a google search because they were advertising in person appointments.
I am so happy that Alex in the polaris office was available to see me a couple days after I called in to inquire. My experience with her has been better than I ever expected. I was always told that you might have to go through a couple therapists before you find one you like and connect with. But I’m glad that my life was easy in one aspect of being paired with Alex. She works with me on my schedule, always gives me both perspective on every topic we discuss and has never given up on me when I don’t complete her homework tasks. Haha
Overall very pleased with Thriveworks and Alex especially!

I have been trying to get receipts for my last 5 visits for a month now. Four different times I called, on hold or with someone for 20 to 40 minutes, then promised they would follow up and they never followed up. It's very clear that my insurance claim is not a priority, but I bet they have people that will take the time to book new patients.
As a medical practice, I don't think Thriveworks should be so inattentive with patient billing and insurance.
Edit: You are linking to the "corporate" Thriveworks on your Google page, no one I talked to seemed to know the "old" portal that Thriveworks Polaris uses is still active and just separate from the one linked to. I don't think the phone number even goes to the right place, I was on a wild goose chase thinking my documents were lost in a transition to a new website when in reality it's just two offices with horrible communication.
I have my records finally but Thriveworks really needs to get their franchising and online presence corrected. This is massively confusing and the employees at the corporate line did not seem well informed. I can still pull up the Thriveworks Columbus (Polaris) page including the link to the wrong portal and I think a "wrong" number going to some other Thriveworks office, that's maybe sort of connected. Same logos and everything, it's so disorganized and confusing, I'm not changing this review.
