Markers and Headstones

My mom passed March 11 2026 I looked on line and found Markers and Headstones. I'm so pleased that I ordered from them the Headstone is beautifully designed. I wasn't expecting it to arrive in time for Mothers Day but I received it the day before. Thank you Markers and Headstones for doing a remarkable job on this.

This past few months have been really hard. My father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer, and within 2 months he was gone. Leaving my mother-in-law with 5 little kids to raise on her own. It was really hard for her to get herself motivated she finally decided it was time to get him a headstone. She lives in a very rural area so she was worried about finding someone who could deliver to it. We went in person, I went with her because it was a hard thing for her to do, to Markers and Headstones. We explained that she lived in a rural area and that we wanted to be sure that they could deliver it. We were told it would not be a problem and that we could send a pin. However, when we sent the pin they told us they could not deliver to it. They needed an address, which there is none because it is a family plot in a rural area. We offered to give them the address to the bashas and if they called us we would wait for them there a d then they could follow us to the plot. This is exactly 1 mile from the Bashas. They would not do that. We have a cousin who lives in town and we asked to deliver it there we gave them that address and they again refused because she has a windy road. Once again we had to find another address. Preferred to get it close to the cemetery at least our options at this point were to deliver to the shop which is 2 hours away from the plot or call the local mortuary and ask if they can receive it. Which luckily they said they would. But now we have to figure out how to get it to the cemetery and we have to rent something to move it. Which will cost extra on top of getting volunteers or hiring someone to help set up. When we ordered the stone we were told shipping and set up were included. We asked for a discount since now we have to pay more money. They only offered us a 5 percent discount, which is nothing. It is less than 100 dollars. The cost for us to rent a vehicle thay will hold 500 lbs is close to 500 a day. This already Hard and stressful situation was made worse by all the run around had we known all this from the start we would have looked around for another shop. Now the reason this is 2 stars and not zero is because the sales rep was very nice to us and she did do a lot of work talking back and forth with the shipping company and owner for us. While we could probably look around and find another company to make the stone and asked to be refunded we really just wanted to make this work because it is a hard thing to do and we didn't want to be back at square one.

Our family just ordered our fourth stone from Markers & Headstones. Every experience has been smooth and perfect. I need to emphasize that you are not sacrificing quality for a lower cost. The photos do not give justice to the actual product! Each time we've received a stone, we've been thrilled and amazed by the beauty and workmanship, and there are family members who are definitely not as easy to please as others.

They say it takes about 20 business days to receive, was pretty much on target with their delivery time. Be patient, it's well worth the wait. The headstone I received was absolutely gorgeous, it was so much better than I expected for the price I paid. Well well well well worth the price and the wait.

Wonderful company. I asked if there was any way they could rush the order as I was late in placing it. I was respectfully told no, their policy is 20 business days. I completely understood. I was so surprised and grateful that it arrived over a 2 weeks early and in plenty of time for my sister's burial. It brought tears to my eyes! I'm sure this can't happen every time, but they went above and beyond to make it happen for us. The stone is a great quality - thick and heavy! The FedEx driver said, "I don't know what this is, but it is HEAVY!" :) And since I wasn't expecting it, I told him, "I don't have a clue, I didn't order anything heavy." LOL I recommend this company to anyone!!
