My brother is very sick and requires long term - end of life care. The caring staff at Life Care Center of Casper treat him like a loving mother would treat their favorite son. I'm very impressed and I highly recommend them. I have been involved with "nursing homes" as a volunteer since the mid 1990's. This is a very good one. Clean and caring!

I'm very disappointed because yesterday Sunday 1/4/2026 about 12:30pm Erica (whom I was told was a nurse) gave my father the wrong medication. She gave him 2 Pavix (blood thinners) instead of his Carbidopa Levodopa (Parkinson's medication) which are normally small yellow pills. I noticed the pills were a different color (similar to the color of Advil). I asked why the pills were a different color? Dad noticed too. Erica insisted they were Carbidopa Levodopa. I asked her if she was sure, because they're normally small yellow pills. She said yes. Nika (who is also a nurse) confirmed they were Carbidopa Levodopa. I asked if they changed pharmaceutical companies? (I know that medications can look different with different companies). They didn't confirm if there was or wasn't a different company. They both still insisted it was the right medication. They're both nurses so I trusted them. Dad took both pills. In the car dad said, "They're giving me a lot of blood thinner pills". I didn't realize what he meant, until today, Monday 1/5/2026. I was visiting dad and the nurse came in with his Carbidopa Levodopa, and they were 2 small yellow pills. I went to the nurses station immediately to let them know. My biggest concern is, them giving the wrong medication could result in death. Thank God my dad is okay. They acted like it was no big deal. To me, it's a very big deal.
I was visiting my dad today Wednesday 1/15/2026 Amanda came in at 12:30pm to give him his afternoon meds (carbidopa Levodopa) except the pills in the cup were 2 little pink pills instead of 2 little yellow pills. She noticed her mistake before waking dad, and left the room to get the right meds. I followed her, and she showed me the packs/cards of pills. And she said she got in a hurry and got the wrong pills. The medication wasn't even my dad's medication. This is twice within less than the 2 weeks this has happened. This is really concerning and scary. I would have written a new review with no stars, but that wasn't an option at this time.
