Black Monument

We just recently buried a sibling and Black Monument went above and beyond with service , selection and assistance with the head stone . Cameron was instrumental in getting a “ rush” order in to meet the internment date . Our family feels much gratitude for this excellent service . Libby Holzgen

This place did a phenomenal job on my mom's gravestone. I went in the first time and explained to what I wanted. And they nailed it on the first try, it wasn't exactly how I wanted it, it was better. The design that I wanted has a crucifix with Jesus on it and a rose. Carmen took care of me. There was also three small plaques which we're also phenomenal. I appreciate the service so much and the prices was certainly in line with anyone else if not a better deal. Thank you for the quality and the Beautiful design.

If I could put no stars I would. I’m retired, on a fixed income and my husband and I purchased our headstone and had it placed about 15-20 years ago. Our agreement with the owner at the time was they would engrave the date of death, all they needed was a phone call and the date. Now the current owners want me to pay an additional $300 to have it done. The young man in the office was very uncaring and basically said since it wasn’t in writing, too bad. When I can, I will pay another company to do it because he was so cold and unconcerned or caring.

Worked with us throughout the entire process and had a great attitude through it all. It ended up taking us 6 months to decide on a design for the stone, and not only were they patient, they also were very willing to accommodate any change we had even thought about. Couldn't have hoped for a better experience especially considering the circumstances.

Besides human gravestones and cemetary markers, this company also offers pet memorial stones, like the kind you'd put in a garden and/or next to a backyard burial site. What makes Black Monument Company stand out is that they actually do the etching of the words right there in-house vs. a couple other places I called in town (pet cemetaries like Noah's) where they have to send away for custom stones, which takes days or weeks and costs more money. I was very happy with Black Monument Co - the pet grave marker they designed is a perfect sweet way to honor the memory of my dear departed furry friend.
