We were so lucky to have Wes as our caterer for our wedding! Not only are we close with him outside of the wedding, but he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. The food was superb (no surprise there!) and our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. What stood out the most was how much he truly cared, not just about the food, but about making our day stress-free and special. Having someone we trust and admire play such an important role in our wedding meant the world to us. We couldn’t recommend Wes enough, both for his incredible cooking and his heart.

We had Old West Dutch Oven cater our wedding of 75 people and it was amazing! The food itself was delicious - we had chicken and brisket, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad and rolls. Everything tasted phenomenal, all of our guests loved it! Wes was also great to work with!

We used Dutch oven for our wedding of 200 people. The owner Wes was easy to communicate with and accommodating. The food was delicious! The guests particularly liked the brisket and Mac and cheese. We also had delicious chicken and meat and cheese trays for appetizers. Even though Wes wouldn’t dress up like the Wild West, all was excellent and I would highly recommend.

Wes is the absolute best! My husband & I wanted our wedding food to be completely opposite of the bbq style that is most common in the area, and he beyond delivered! We were living in another state for 99% of the planning period for our wedding and Wes made sure we were comfortable with the decisions even with having to connect at random times being in different time zones. After one conversation with Wes we knew he was the right choice for our wedding and we completely trusted his talent & he brought our vision to life better than we had expected. We had Wes cater our rehearsal dinner, our wedding party lunch, and our wedding reception he did not disappoint. The entire setup was professionally executed, the meals each had a theme and all the parts complimented each other. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was, and many of whom were thrilled to finally attend a catered event where the food never ran out! Wes ensured we had plenty of food for everyone and no one left hungry. It was truly a dream working with Wes and I highly recommend working with him in the future. We will absolutely be seeking him out for any of our culinary needs, his talent and food knowledge is unmatched. THANK YOU WES!

Tim and his team at Old West Dutch Oven Catering did a phenomenal job catering my wedding. Tim was very easy and helpful to work with during the planning the stages of the menu and logistics. He even allowed a few things not on their regular menu to accommodate some special requests. As for the day of it went off without a hitch and my husband and I ate our plates clean! Our guests were also very pleased continuing to bring up how great the food was after the event. Dutch Oven Catering is the best value in the Black Hills hands down and I'd gladly work with them again!
