St. Louis Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care

My mother has lived at St. Louis Hills for over three years. The people who work at the facility go above and beyond to support the residents and ensure they get what they need. There are lots of activities and events allowing residents to engage and participate within a community. The staff is attentive, but most importantly, they care about the residents. In a society where most every service and product seems to be grossly overpriced and woefully underperforming, St. Louis Hills stands above the rest. I would highly recommend trusting this facility to care for your loved ones.

My sister has had a very rough year. She has been hospitalized or in a skilled nursing facility since August of last year and is finally well enough to move into assisted living. In doing my research, my first thought was St. Louis Hills Assisted Living due to the fact that it’s in the neighborhood and my dad was a resident there over a decade ago and truly loved it. I looked at many facilities but always came back to St. Louis Hills. The intake coordinator Tasha was so kind and helpful, and answered all of my questions. It took a few weeks before we were ready to commit, but I never felt pressured and Tasha continued to be supportive and follow-up with answers to any additional questions that arose. Once we were ready, things moved very quickly. Tasha rearranged her schedule to accommodate me for the tour and in getting the paperwork ready. Megan, the Director of Community Business, took time out of her busy weekend to perform my sister’s assessment at the nursing facility. We are so grateful to have found St. Louis Hills Assisted Living once again. Tasha, Megan, Virgil (Maintenance Supervisor), as well as Monica at the front desk are all incredibly caring and treat the residents with dignity and respect. The facility is very welcoming and knowing my sister will be safe and happy gives our family incredible peace of mind.

We moved my mother in at the end of February, and the transition has been a smooth one. Tosha and Megan have both been so helpful with answering questions. Maintenance has been wonderful in assisting with getting the room set up and ready. The nursing staff has been very accommodating and reassuring in addressing our concerns. Visiting here has been pleasant. An added bonus: my mom has a great view and enjoys sitting in the sun and looking out her window!

The move from our previous assistant living was a smooth transaction. The marketer, Tosha, has been extremely helpful, as she is a CMT, and able to understand our needs. Maintenance has also been very accommodating. My mom really enjoys the food and activities.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Do not send your loved ones here!! They will be neglected, their rooms and bathrooms will be absolutely disgusting, and when they push a button for help no one will come to help them! This place is abusing and neglecting their residents. My uncle was found on the floor at 7 am and when being picked up for a doctor appointment they were trying to cover up that he fell until they couldn’t because he couldn’t move his legs. Only reason he was sent to the hospital is because he was supposed to be ready for a doctor appointment. I don’t know what would have happened if no one came to get him. According to him he fell and was on the floor for hours before someone found him. Yet no one in the family was informed even when coming to pick him up they still tried to hide it until they couldn’t. The state of his bathroom is totally unacceptable and absolutely disgusting! His trash cans are overflowing with dirty diapers and other unsanitary items. Looks like no one has cleaned in months. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE!!!!!!!!
