Our brother was a resident at Tarina. It was a major blessing for him and for us. He has had mobility problems and was on dialysis. In short, he needed help. He got all the help he needed and a lot more. He got a HOME, he got good friends, he received great medical staff support and he got good meals. When the day came that his body could not make it anymore, he “went home to Tarina” (from the hospital) for loving hospice assistance. We adore Executive Director Gretchen and the entire staff for what they have done for our family!

Every time I visit Novellus I have a heart warming experience with all the people there.
I'd like to thank the staff for all their help and consideration through the years. Thank you for allowing me to visit. I appreciate your time and help Lisa. It's always a good time had by all!

I won't take anyone in my family members to this facility. I was at Sutter Gould when a gentleman in a wheelchair was dropped off by there bus. They wheeled him out & were not going to help him . When she noticed he was not moving the wheel chair she decided to push him to the front door . He couldn't move the chair so I decided to help him ,once he got in I ask him where did he need to go ,he said he didn't know ,so I ask someone there at the office to help . The gentleman in wheel chair said may x-ray but not sure . It was so sad to see that this facility did not take him in to his appointment since he couldn't even wheel himself in . Then I came home & called the facility, manager told me that's how it works, just to give them a ride & that it was none of my business. I asked her how would she like it if it was her family member being treated this way? She started yelling at me & hung up on me . So I called back to ask to speak to another manager, she said she was the only one there . If u have a family member there u need to be aware of this facility. It made me sad to see someone treated like this . I have seen other facilities drop of patients & never left them there to fend for themselves. It was horrible.

There was no one at front desk. I went down the hall and saw a staff I asked if any one could help me and was ignored. There was no concern of safety by anyone. I went back to front desk waited until two staff walked by and ask them if anyone could help me and was told no. I checked out and left. The only one that knows I was there was your check in system (because I am honest) and my mother inlaw. With no holiday security a thief or some one wanting to do harm could of had the run of the place. Very poor..
