When the unimaginable happened, Mackenna and her team made everything so much easier. She really listened to what was important and made suggestions that helped our celebration of life for my husband really “feel” like him, in a way I never anticipated. I will be forever grateful to Makenna for helping us to honor Eric in our own way, with every detail handled with care and respect.

My son passed away in Aurora, CO and I live in Michigan. Horan & McConaty was wonderful to work with long distance, especially Elizabeth our funeral director. Myself and other family traveled to Aurora to attend the activities we had arranged for our son and H&M far exceeded our expectations. We were treated with great compassion for our loss and my son was treated with the utmost respect. Our every question was answered and every request gladly fulfilled. We will always remember the wonderful experience we had at H&M as we honored our son for the last time and laid him to his final rest. Thank you Elizabeth and H&M!

I was initially interviewed by Greg to get information about a funeral due to wife in hospice. He was very helpful on the initial contact. I later was contacted by Elizabeth Bloess who assisted in all the preparations for my wife's funeral. Elizabeth made all the necessary arrangements and went over virtually every detail no matter how small it was with me and my stepson before implementing the decisions. When something wasn't printed correctly, Elizabeth was right on it to have it corrected immediately and kept us informed. Elizabeth treated me and my stepson as if we were family showing compassion and sincere sympathy during every contact. I had checked about Horan & McConaty prior to using them and had also attended funerals involving co-workers in the past and have always been impressed on their services. After all the things that were needed to be done, Elizabeth Bloess went up and beyond in our experiences with everything she did. She is an outstanding individual in the profession and shows her dedication to the business. When the time comes for me to use a funeral home and have some in charge of the arrangements, I have asked my stepson to contact Elizabeth at Horan & McConaty for have be in charge. Great job!!!

My family would like to thank JaCobe Payne (Funeral director), Devine Lewis (Cremations) and Greg Fleener (Preneed) for their excellent communication, planning and cremation services. We felt at ease with the team during the first meeting and are satisfied with the services provided. My family and I had the most wonderful and meaningful experience at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (Dartmouth location in Denver) for my father’s funeral. The facility was beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly fitting for my father’s personality. The staff made everything simple and stress-free for us. We provided them with the information and media they requested, and they created a personalized slideshow of photos beautifully enhanced with eagles and mountains—my father’s favorite things. Their attention to detail with everything brought so many happy tears. They also recorded the entire service, capturing both the speeches and the warm greetings among guests. I was deeply impressed by the quality of the video and the clarity of the sound. Overall, the care, professionalism, and thoughtfulness shown by the staff made a difficult time feel comforting, meaningful, and truly special for our family.
