Portal of Peace handled everything so efficiently and made it easy for me, including delivery to my front door. At a very difficult time for me of losing my mom, Susie was so patient, kind and empathetic to help me get through. I felt like she was walking beside me as a friend. She was extremely available and responsive. I highly recommend their services.

When I lost my father, Susie was there from the very beginning with kindness and understanding. She took care of things I didn’t even realize needed attention and guided me through every step with compassion. I truly believe this is a family-run business because the care I received felt so personal — more like the support of a friend than a business transaction. Everything was handled over the phone and email with dignity and respect, and my father was treated with the utmost care when he was picked up and his ashes brought home. I was so grateful it was all taken care of and I didn’t have to leave the house. I also felt that I received far more than I expected for what I paid. I’m deeply grateful to Susie at Portal of Peace for helping my family through such a difficult time.

It's a family run business and after reading all the excellent reviews, it was an easy choice. From my first call with Susie, I knew I made the right choice. She was warm, kind and very knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of my questions. Susie was very responsive to all of my texts. She made a difficult situation easier to navigate.
