Central Florida Wedding Association had the pleasure of enjoying an amazing taco bar with 100+ guests it was the most delicious birria tacos, chicken and unique cocktail menu.

Uncommon Catering was outstanding to work with and delivered an exceptional culinary experience. Every item was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. You could immediately tell they put care and intention into both the menu and the guest experience. Their selections felt elevated, creative, and perfectly executed. Beyond the food itself, their team was professional, organized, and attentive throughout the entire process. They helped create a polished and memorable experience that guests truly enjoyed. If you are looking for catering that stands out in both taste and presentation, Uncommon Catering is an excellent choice.

I can’t say enough about Tara and Travis. We had an absolutely unbelievable experience with them and how much they pour their hearts into what they do. Travis took so many behind the scenes shots that I cherish and was joyous and kind the whole night. I had said we were doing silver as our metal accent and using antique elements and Tara was happy to go the extra mile and find appetizer plates that matched what I loved. She also loves wedding florals and asked me for Pinterest inspo and made small arrangements to bring and accent the catering tables. No one else would do that!! They truly just love love and that’s what sets them apart from any other catering company business, how much they care about their couples and all the ways they show it. I had many guests tell us this was the best wedding food they’ve ever had and I one million percent agree! We chose the ahi tuna wonton crisps, mini chicken and waffle bites, caprese salad, rosemary chicken thighs, beef brisket, roasted red potatoes, and italian green beans. Everything was absolutely amazing, I believe we picked perfectly but everything else we’ve had from Uncommon Catering was so good as well. Travis made my husband and I huge plates, made sure we had lots of appetizers set aside for us, both for right after we walked down the aisle and took a minute alone together to soak it all in and even again at dinner. I love how they do the tasting, we were able to try our preferences as well as what the other couples present had chosen to try. It was such a fun night, no details left out, and Tara and Travis obviously love what they do. We wanted to support a smaller, family-owned business for our wedding catering and I’m so happy we found them. We also chose to do s’mores and the bar through them!! They were sooooo good and cute, the presentation was perfect. The drinks were delicious and they helped us choose the best liquor to purchase ourselves, with them providing batched cocktails, mixers, and bartenders. Also! Such a small thing that makes a huge difference but their water flavorings were incredible. We did rosemary orange based on Travis’ fav and it was so beautiful and exactly what our guests needed on a warm Florida day. If you’re an engaged couple looking for caterers, I know you’ll be so happy to choose UC. I shout this recommendation from the rooftops to all our friends and family and would hope for anyone to see how incredible they are!!

My husband and I had Uncommon Catering for our wedding and we couldn't be more pleased. From start to finish, Travis and Tara were complete professionals. All email correspondence was clear and timely, and Travis was extremely helpful. It was also the best tasting experience we had when looking for our wedding caterer. There's something to be said when every dish you try at the tasting is so good that you struggle to choose the dishes for your wedding day. On our wedding day, every guest told us the food was outstanding. What wedding do you go to where every single guest is pleased with the food? We chose to add a hot beverage station two weeks prior to the day since the weather was projected to be cold, and we were genuinely surprised at the attention to detail and number of options there were for our guests to customize their coffee and tea. That station, plus the buffet area itself, was so nicely decorated to match our decor. The staff was attentive and so kind; while we and the wedding party took photos during cocktail hour, servers came to us with plates of food. During the reception, one server frequently checked if we needed drinks or seconds of any food dish. To have attentive, proactive staff at your wedding was something we didn't realize we would appreciate so much. For anyone that is researching Uncommon to decide if they are right for their event , let our review be the deciding factor for you. Truly, you won't be disappointed.

This review is long overdue! We hired Uncommon Catering for our wedding and they truly went above and beyond. We needed halal food, and they accommodated us fully even offering alternatives at the tasting so we could try everything. The food was fresh, made on-site, and absolutely delicious. Chef Tara is incredibly talented. We still have guests talking about how good the food was. Their attention to detail was amazing they even matched our wedding colors at the bar, water station, and food setup. It really makes a difference when you hire a company that cares. So thankful for Uncommon Catering and we highly recommend them!
