Our first day when my Aunt arrived, there was no one to greet her and get her settled. This was disturbing. The Staff were and are very friendly, attentive and always are willing to help. I did grab a maintenance gentleman that was more than willing to help me and I appreciated him so very much. I believe he is one of the cleaners and wish I could remember his name. The overall facility is very clean with the exception of the connections room & its refrigerator which was gross. My Aunts daughter's requests to correct issues found with her room were met. The food in the dinning room is always cold with the exception of the breakfast that is generally warm when she receives it. Overall the majority of the staff there are very friendly & helpful. I would just recommend that when a new resident arrives, to have a person take them on a tour and get them settled in their room. This is assisted living and the majority of the facilities I have viewed had an ambassador that did partner with the resident the first couple days. It was very busy there when we arrived, however, if there was a person to receive the new resident it would be most helpful to that person. On another note, the grounds are beautiful and presented well! Thank you, JoAnne :)

My in-laws moved to the Landing of Brighton a few days ago. My family’s experience has been extremely positive. Beginning with our first visit/tour, resident evaluations, and through move-in, everyone was helpful and accommodating. I truly enjoy entering the front door and being greeted by the cheerful staff. If the first few days are any indication of their new living arrangement, we’ll all be very happy at the Landing of Brighton.

The staff is caring and flexible at The Landing of Brighton. They take the time and effort to know residents and their needs. Communication with family members is ongoing as needs arise. They are very accommodating to allow pets, a transitional bonus for our family member who is continues to keep her dog after years of fostering rescues. Adjacent walking trails give independent residents access to open space. The property is very clean and a nice place to live in a loving environment.

From the moment I walked into The Landing on Brighton I saw genuinely, warm interaction between staff & residents. I saw community & support & had a positive feeling that this could be the place for my Dad. When I’d narrowed the field, ( to two places ) I brought my Dad so he could make his choice, but not be overwhelmed by more than he could handle. He also appreciated what he saw & he felt welcome. Sara, gave us a wonderful tour & was very helpful answering questions. The only reason we did not ultimately choose the Landing, is Dad chose to be at a facility closer to where his wife was moving. It was the right choice for them. But I am grateful to Sara for making a very stressful time, hopeful & positive. I’d also note that a friend’s father had been a resident here and very much enjoyed The Landing & community as his home.

My brother moved in here a couple months ago and we couldn’t be happier with his care. The staff go above and beyond to help him each day. They take the time to know their residents and help them acclimate. My brother is a proud veteran and he is now eating with other veterans during meals. It is so reassuring to have him tell us he’s going to eat with his buddies. The food is amazing too which is very important to my brother. We are all having brunch with him Easter Sunday and he couldn’t be happier to be the host. If you are looking for a place for your loved one to be treated with dignity and respect-this is the place…then you can enjoy being your loved one’s family again instead of their caregiver! The fellas below left a seat open for you…just make the call!
