Austin Catering

We had K.D. and the Austin Catering team cater our wedding this spring, and they were wonderful to work with! They created an entirely custom Colombian-inspired menu for our cocktail hour and reception, including arepas, patacones, and several other dishes that were meaningful to us. As someone with celiac disease, it was also incredibly important to me that the food be 100% gluten-free, and their team did an amazing job accommodating that for us. We were a little nervous about how the food on the wedding day would compare to the tasting, but they absolutely nailed it. They brought our vision to life perfectly, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. Given the complexity of our menu and the number of custom dishes, there were a few moments where buffet items took a little longer to be replenished, and the water station/table water service occasionally lagged behind guest demand. That said, everything was handled professionally, and overall the evening ran very smoothly. The servers were all wonderful, and we felt so well taken care of throughout the evening. They also made sure we had one of everything packed up to take with us at the end of the night, which we really appreciated.

Flavia with Austin Catering was such a joy. She was open to all my crazy ideas, and she was excited to make them happen. She thinks of the little things -- for example, we had tiramisu from an outside vendor for dessert. She asked if we wanted them to bring extra cocoa powder to make the slices look more appealing. Who does that? Not to mention she's just really sweet and cheerful. Everything went wonderfully the day of, and many, many people raved about the food! They accomodated an Argentinian-theme wedding for us, and even worked to refine small tweaks we made with a follow-up tasting. We also did adorable, late-night Chicago hot dogs that were also a hit! Their prices were very reasonable, too. To be completely honest, they did forget one very small thing (a drink garnish) and a bigger thing (fries we meant to serve with hot dogs), but honestly, that was far from our biggest concern, and they owned up to the mistake and refunded us. Overall, highly recommend!

Work with Austin Catering!! We just got married in Austin in January 2026. My husband and I live in Chicago and work very full time jobs (I’m a resident physician and he works at a financial-tech start up). They did an incredible job working with our needs as a catering/bartending company, had excellent communication throughout the process, and flawless execution. Flavia always followed up, worked within our budget, helped create a delicious menu, and counseled us through much of the catering/bartending side. We wanted a fully vegetarian buffet that people wouldn’t have noticed was vegetarian until pointed out. Surely enough- a few of my guests raved that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding AND some didn’t noticed it wasn’t vegetarian until half way through. Top favorites include the tomato soup/grilled cheese, stuffed cannoli, and wontons. Day of, the staff was so professional and diligent. My guests even commented on how much they loved the witty bartenders! 11/10 I couldn’t ask for a better catering team.

We hired Austin Catering for our large family New Year’s Eve dinner, and they truly exceeded our expectations! Feeding a group of 30 people, young and old, can be chaotic, but the team handled everything with such grace and professionalism. The food was served piping hot, beautifully presented, and—most importantly—it was delicious. It allowed us to actually enjoy each other's company instead of spending the whole night in the kitchen. We even enjoyed the leftovers the day after! Gabrielle was also so easy to work with in the planning phase. This dinner was the highlight of our annual family vacation. Thank you!

When the road to our Rehearsal Dinner was washed away by last weekend’s Texas flood, Austin Catering stepped up in the most incredible way—opening their Union Pointe location and bringing in a full team to ensure our guests were served, even though they weren’t the original caterers. Outstanding service and true dedication to their customers. Thank you! The next night was our wedding where we had hired Austin catering. Beautiful presentation- food was delicious and attention to detail was perfect! Thank you Giselle and the Austin Catering team!
