Groovin' Gourmets

A 67-person wedding event with food, beer+wine, a champagne toast, and service/support that ALL went off without a hitch! We opted for Action Stations and found all of them to be excellent. The Butcher's Block and the Taco Bar were particular hits in our crowd, and the Pasta didn't slouch either (someone said the best Chicken Alfredo of their life!). I even happened to mention during our tasting that I would prefer a salsa verde to the sauces they typically provide for their tacos, and wouldn't you know it, on the day there was a special salsa verde right alongside everything. Thank you to Michelle for working closely with us for months leading up to the event and thank you to everyone who made our wonderful event possible!!!

The Groovin team was incredible to work with for my wedding! Everyone complimented the food, especially the passed apps, the entire night. Groovin prepared fun little surprises throughout (good surprises that I wont spoil) that were such a meaningful touch. They executed my vision perfectly and, in a venue with a bit of a time crunch, sailed smoothly through the set up. We included a traditional cookie table of baked goods brought by the guests, which other caterers we talked to flat out refused to help with us, but Groovin had experience with it before, kept it organized, displayed them beautifully, and even helped our coordinator pack some up for us to enjoy when we got to our hotel at the end of the evening. Every person was lovely to work with and worked well with all my other vendors. We loved having Kaylyn as our rep. She was always friendly, understanding, and quick to make any change or answer any questions. Overall, they were the perfect catering team and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Working with Michelle is always a pleasure. She makes my life so easy as a planner with her fantastic on site team and detailed communication ahead of time. I never have to worry any time I have a Groovin' Gourmets wedding. The level of food and service is top notch.

Groovin Gourmet did all of the catering for our wedding reception and it was exactly what we hoped for! The food was delicious, they made all of the adjustments we asked for, and handled all of the rentals just like we needed. From the initial tasting, they made us feel incredibly special and rolled out the red carpet. They have a number of options to choose from, and we went with stations. Our guests loved it and we did too (when we had spare moments to eat!) The kids at the wedding loved it and so did the adults. Also, the passed apps during the cocktail hour were a huge highlight!! And the team was so supportive throughout the whole process. We would 100% choose them again.

We are so thankful to the team at Groovin Gourmets for doing a wonderful job with our wedding catering (and venue setup!). Everyone we spoke to (venues, coordinators, etc.) recommended Groovin, and as soon as we reached out we understood why - from the very beginning they were incredibly responsive, and happy to answer our many (many) questions. Kaylyn made the planning process easy, helping us to develop a staffing plan to help with the set-up of our venue (The Workshop by T&D, which was also great). Groovin staff came the day before to set up ceremony chairs and then immediately after the ceremony efficiently moved all the chairs to the other side of the venue for dinner. They helped us coordinate rentals with Party Perfect and had all the right answers (and questions) during our on-site venue walkthrough. As for the food itself, everything was delicious! People always tell you that you won’t eat at your own wedding, but the food was so good that we sat and ate our entire plates. Guests raved and two friends told us that they even came up with targeted strategies to chase down their favorite hors d'oeuvre when they came out. We especially recommend the pork belly hors d'oeuvre and the szechuan salmon entree. From start to finish, Groovin’ was efficient and professional, and we would highly recommend them for any event.
