Country Garden Caterers and CGC Facility

This venue was absolutely perfect for our Christmas vintage–themed micro wedding. We had 27 guests, yet the space never felt empty—making it an ideal setting for an intimate celebration. We held our ceremony upstairs, and the layout worked beautifully for our group size. We appreciated the flexibility to decorate the space ourselves. We prepared our own centerpieces and ceremony décor, and Lori and her team followed our decoration instructions perfectly on the day of the wedding, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. They even helped us with cleanup at the end of the event, something we truly appreciated. We also appreciated being able to use the venue’s TV for a game. We brought an HDMI Extender Male to Female Cable and a laptop, and on the day everything worked perfectly, allowing us to play a “Bride and Groom Trivia” game with our guests. We switched venues to CGC extremely late in our planning process, but from the very beginning, Lori was nothing but helpful and accommodating. With only two weeks before our wedding, she worked her magic—quickly arranging our tasting, scheduling a rehearsal, and working closely with us on details and décor. She was always willing to make adjustments and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. The food was also excellent. We chose a buffet menu with Caesar salad, chicken madeira, herb-roasted potatoes, and grilled Mediterranean vegetables, and our guests—from age 3 to 70—all agreed that everything was delicious. After exploring several venues with strict policies or little willingness to accommodate small weddings, CGC was a breath of fresh air. In Orange County, we believe this is likely the only venue that so warmly accepts a wedding of this size while offering such a reasonable price. From start to finish, Lori and her team treated us with genuine kindness and respect. Because a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about your vision. There’s a lot more we could say about the team at CGC and Lori, but let’s just say it was definitely meant to be for us. Thank you for making our day truly special!

Absolutely Amazing!!! My job hosted an event at the Honda Center and we needed to provide 3 meals a day over 6 days for our 500 person crew and Country Gardens delivered above and beyond!! Diana, Joel and Aurelio were so great - caring, detail oriented great customer service, and patient (I changed the menus a few times lol). The food was fresh, quality and tasty! So grateful to the team!!!

I am so grateful for Country Gardens Caterers. My husband and I are huge procrastinators and while other life events got in the way, we didn’t think that we’d be able to find a place so soon to have our reception. Alas, after looking online and reading reviews we thought why not tour this place? Not only was there availability on our date, but Diana was so quick to set up a meeting and tour with us so we could secure it. From the very beginning the place metaphorically and quite literally felt so welcoming. The staff was some of the best service I had ever received in my life and I can’t express how grateful I am for all of them! Diana was absolutely top tier with her service and was so helpful through the whole process. From smaller things like recommending what would look best with the table layouts and settings to bigger things like making sure she answered every question thoroughly, she was amazing. She made us feel so comfortable to ask questions that it made this whole process so smooth. The whole place is absolutely beautiful! I have always liked more rustic and homey looking settings and this place fit that exactly. The actual day of event couldn’t have gone better. The staff that was working that day was outstanding. As the bride and groom, we kept trying to do so much, but the staff kept coming up to ask us if there was literally anything that we needed. Efren was the lead that day and he had actually given us the first tour when we were planning. He was so helpful the day of the tour and even more helpful the day of the wedding. One other worker Lisa also was amazing. Throughout the night she checked on us and was making sure all was good and if we needed anything she was on it to help. The bartender also made the experience great and kept the party strong! They were so attentive and helpful that at times it even made me emotional because they contributed to making sure that mine and my husband’s day was special. They even at one point gave a suggestion on the location of our card box and wedding favors to ensure that they were on display for everyone to see and not be hidden. While details like that may be small, it was apart of making our reception amazing. This is literally one of the first reviews I have ever written about anything because that’s how happy I was with my experience. If you are questioning if you should book your next event here, don’t question anymore and do it. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone who would listen!

What an amazing experience we had for our wedding this past June 17th. Kim, Efren, Joel and the entire staff made our wedding day as memorable as we could have asked. From the ceremony to reception they helped us put on an amazing memorable day. We received rave reviews the food service provided by them from our entire guests. Highly recommend CGC and their staff for any type of event you may have in mind.

Warning: LONG DETAILED REVIEW TL;DR: Lori is amazing, and CGC is amazing. Don't look further! I normally do not leave any reviews on various websites, but Country Garden Caterers is worth every word of my review. I am also leaving 5-star reviews on a few other wedding website platforms because they are just PHENOMENAL. I want to give my utmost shoutout to Lori, one of the Catering consultants at CGC! She was such a joy to work with, funny, creative, responsive to my messages (calls/texts/emails). There are so many wonderful things to share about Lori, but I would like to highlight how she went completely above and beyond to help out a stressed out bride like me. She understands how stressful wedding planning can be (catering being such a HUGE part of the event) and listened to my concerns and request for help. I was struggling to find a third party rental for china plates, silverware and glasses a month out from the wedding, and she helped me secure all of that by working with her colleague (Andy) at CGC, for delivering, setting up and picking up all on the same day. She helped to order all the linens and nicely folded napkins. While she had so many other weddings to coordinate and plan, she was completely on top of it and did not make my wedding feel like just another wedding she had to work on. She is so personable, helpful, and available! I am so lucky to have worked with her for my wedding this past weekend. And how can I NOT talk about the food. Whenever I hear people rave about any kind of food, I am skeptical because the food ends up being underwhelming (too much hype). However, I was blown away by how DELICIOUS their food was. After attending their tasting, it was a no brainer to put down the deposit with them on the spot and secure them as our wedding caterer. For our cocktail hour hors D'oeuvres, we had coconut shrimp, bacon-wrapped dates and wonton teriyaki crisps. They were all so delicious (my favorite was the bacon-wrapped dates), my guests told me they went back for them several times. For our reception dinner, we had marsala chicken and brisket (special request to be served with their Jack Daniel BBQ sauce - which Lori accommodated for us) as entrees, garlic mashed potatoes, sonoma salad, and grilled mediterranean veggies. Marsala chicken was so juicy and flavorful. CGC doesn't specialize in BBQ but their brisket is so juicy and soft, and the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce complimented the briskets so well. Garlic mashed potatoes were so full of flavor, and their sonoma salad is now my favorite salad, like ever. I've heard (and even experienced) wedding food being unmemorable, but CGC was completely different. So many people came up to the sweetheart table and told me the food was so delicious. One guest told me that our food was the best wedding food she has ever had in decades. Lastly, CGC servers was so professional, hardworking and provided exceptional customer service to our guests. I will definitely choose them again if I have to plan parties that require catering in the future. If my review didn't convince you already to choose CGC for your wedding, I don't know what will.
