Western Monument

Ordered a headstone and was told it would be done in about 6-8 months and I would be called once completed. Never received a call, I had to reach out several times. Came to the office to pay at 9am (opens at 8) and was told someone would be here in 20 mins

During April-May 2025, I had reached out to Western Monument by email to request an appointment. I also included a starting sketch of what I was hoping to purchase. No call back. After a few days, or almost a week, I called to leave a follow up voicemail. I followed up one last time a few days after that—just in case. I noticed that their outgoing message had changed. I think this company either doesn’t respond to business calls or they are going out of business. If you are interested in being ignored, then this is the monument provider for you. No, I don’t recommend them as they specify that appointments are required. But if they ignore your requests to schedule, it’s just not good customer service.

In 2024, our family unexpectedly lost our mother & 6 months later, I lost my son. I have contacted many other headstone companies, but had a hard time customizing what our family wanted without breaking the bank. From the time of our initial appointment to the completion of the two headstones has been a smooth process. Daniel and his dad (Pavel I think his name is) do top notch work. From the customary headstone being the best quality on the market to customer service and the price is very reasonable. I'm so glad we found this place esp in our time of grievance.

*Update* 07/13/21 Pavel had informed me though email the headstone I had ordered was completed. He attached some photos to the email as well. I was really impressed with the photos ov the work he had done. But the pictures did not do the headstone justice, you have to see the work in person to really appreciate what Pavel can do. Although it was way pass the estimated completion date, I am very glad I chose Pavel to create the headstone. Price is very reasonable, Pavel is very creative with his designs. Pavel does care about his work, he loaded the headstone on the truck himself and took extreme care when securing the headstone. Pavel will work with you no matter through the whole design process to help create the monument you want.  Just be patient with Pavel and he will get want you want done. Covid has put a delay on monument makers to get their stones in from wherever they get them.  I will never go to anyone else for headstones other than western monument. *1st initial review* I was very impressed by Pavels work from previous monuments he made. After meeting w/several other monument makers I decided I wanted to do business w/pavel. Met w/him and he informed that I pay 1/2 now so he can order the stone and get it coming, And the other 1/2 when it is complete. At the time the time I paid for 50% of the cost to get coming was back in March and he said it be 8 to 10 weeks. Gave him the ideas and I wanted on the stone, his design was phenomenal and very communicatuve throught out the design process. 9 weeks in gave him a call back, he then said 10 to 12 weeks from the day I put down 50% and said hed call me back. Gave him a call last week said it was still in the process of shipping. Its been about 13/14 weeks now. Not happy about the timeline to be honest. Will update review as time as time goes on, that is why Im giving a one star for now.

Pavel at Western Monument spent enough time with us to create the absolutely perfect headstone for our daughter. We had a lot of questions about what materials would last and all were answered. If you want great customer service and amazing artistic talent for a decent price, I would fully recommend Western Monument.
