My family is grateful to The Gardens Of Scottsdale. Our mom is in good hands. The facility is well managed, and the staff are very kind. It is the right size, not too big and not too small and it has all the amenities our mom needs. Wally O

More than 18 months ago when I met the folks at The Gardens of Scottsdale I was given a tour of the facility which I found to be very homey and comfortable. Now, after having worked with the staff in their processes of caring for the elderly lady I am in charge of I must say I am still quite pleased. The caregivers all have a genuine caring attitude about the clients there and it shows. In my case, Mary needs a lot more care today than when she first arrived but the level of attention she receives is very comforting . Each member of this staff seems to be quite well trained. The property is a nice size. The individual rooms are a comfortable size. The living room easily fits every one who comes in to watch TV or play games, etc. The place feels like home in every sense of the word. The costs associated with the service involved are reasonable as well. I very much like The Gardens of Scottsdale. Yes, if given the chance I would do it again. TomU

As a daughter, finding the right place to care for my mother was one of the hardest and most important decisions I’ve had to make. I’m so grateful I found The Gardens of Scottsdale where my mom spent the last couple years of her life. From the very beginning, the staff treated my mom with kindness, dignity, and genuine compassion. The caregivers always went above and beyond. They were attentive, patient, and truly took the time to get to know my mom. It meant everything to know she was safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people who genuinely cared about her well-being. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and communication with staff has been excellent. The Gardens has been such a blessing for our family. Knowing my mom was in such good hands gave me so much comfort. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one.

My mom was at the Gardens of Scottsdale for almost 2 years. I visited her weekly at the facility. My mom needed help with eating, dressing, and everything during the last 6 months of her life. Unfortunately, my sister did not add me to receive input for her care due to her own issues. Regardless, my mom basically starved to death in her last few months. Even if my sisters directives were what they were following, in my opinion as well as the caregivers, she needed another person to help beyond what the staff could do. I was NOT allowed to help her eat in the dining room. On my last visit before she passed, they “kicked me out and escorted me out” as I was photographing the caregiver, residents and my mom when she was being taken to the dining room. She was on morphine and I was informed her other meds were stopped. I would NEVER entrust the care of my loved one in this facility. They should have required my sister to hire additional care. They did not. Make sure you visit the facility and see the actual quality of care. I am not adding photos out of respect for my mom.

I recently moved my sister from a group home into The Gardens of Scottsdale at a time when there was a transition to new ownership. I concur with many of the positive reviews submitted earlier to this transition. The 'Gardens' is clean, and the food is good, and with many selections at each meal (this was important to my sister - a foodie - who had little choice in the group home). There are also many activities to help keep her social and occupied. Her parish even has a communion service there... But more than anything, the new management and the staff (many of whom continued) have been amazingly helpful - truly going above and beyond. I do not live in Phoenix, so this move was a challenge from a distance; their assistance was life-saving! When I spoke to my best friends in Scottsdale about the help I was offered, they were astonished. During the move and in the few weeks since the move, I have had conversations with their upper-level management, the family director, the medical coordinator, the activities director, and the business office. They continue to be helpful and accommodating. I could not feel more confident that my sister is in good hands...
