The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Two elders came and visited me. I am 69 yo with neuropathy in my hands and feet. Well we talked about Jesus and I asked where they are from because I’ve had others that would visit me. I explained to the elders that I am baptized from my Catholic Church. I asked them I would like visits just to pray and see how we are with religion. They were leaving and I asked when is the next appointment! They said same time every Tuesday. Well next week and the next week and the next week are no shows. All I want to say is, if I said or did anything that may have offended them, I apologize! At least they could have called and said something!

As a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I’m always grateful for the chance to visit wards while traveling—and the Buffalo congregation made me feel right at home. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine love. The Spirit was strong, the talks were uplifting, and the members truly felt like extended family. It’s such a blessing to know that no matter where I go, I can find a place to worship that feels familiar and sacred. Thank you to everyone in the Buffalo ward for embracing visitors like me—you reminded me once again that we are all part of one eternal family. Was able to pop in and attend services while in town for business. I belong to this church but to a different congregation (since I don't live in Buffalo). I was so glad I made it. I felt at home as soon as I entered. ☺️ As other reviewers have mentioned, there are people from many different backgrounds in this congregation, and lots of families with children. It felt very loving. I was impressed that services were offered in English, Spanish, Swahili, and French. I also saw sign language provided at the front. I'm so grateful the location was close to the hotel so I was able to attend easily. I would definitely come again if I'm in town on another Sunday in the future. Thank you for welcoming me!

I've loved attending this church. Not only do I believe it is the only true church on the Earth because it contains the fulness of the gospel, I am ever surprised at how happy, inclusive, and charitable the members are. We are constantly doing service for those in our congregation as well as the neighborhood around our church. We're truly learning about Christ and striving to be like Christ.

This is a really great place for a family to go to church, easy access right off the highway. The congregation is very diverse, they have a great youth program, meetings during the week for young men, and young women. They sponsor a good boy scout troop, they have a fantastic women's support and service group , they have weekly meetings for men to help us be better men, father's and husbands. The Sunday service is simple and sincere and always brings me great peace. I love the Buffalo Ward.
