My Mom passed away in March of 2024. There was no will, and her property was already in foreclosure court with a July Sheriff Sale pending. My brother convinced me not to just let it go to the bank so he found some potential lawyers and paid the upfront costs. We both agreed we needed someone with experience because we knew literally less then nothing. So just like that Leon became our representative. Leon was always straightforward, professional, and fair. He was never judgmental or belittling. He jumped right in and worked at what had to be record speeds. Telling us exactly what to do, answered what questions I did have completely. He was our foreclosure, our real estate, and our probate attorney. With Leon's expertise driving us, we got the court to not do the Sheriff Sale, closed on the property in July of 2024, got a couple of advances on the funds earned, and got the probate successfully closed January 2025. Saying those four months (April-July) were intense is an understatement, but Leon's expertise was the very well-crafted rocketship my brother and I comfortably rode in for this entire process. Leon never took advantage of us and always had our best interests in mind. I highly recommend him if you are looking for representation and are in the Chicago area.
