Entrusting a parent to hospice care is one of the hardest decisions a family can make, and Amedisys North’s Team carried us through it with extraordinary compassion. From the nurses to the support staff, every team member treated my Father with dignity and our family with genuine warmth during an incredibly painful time. I will forever be grateful for the comfort, professionalism, and humanity they brought into our lives when we needed it most.

I cannot stress enough this saying that our HHA shared with us... Everyone needs a little help some times. I needed the help so I could step away and just be a daughter every once in a while. And my Dad needed a break for me being the caregiver. We laughed more because of the extra hands and caregivers Amedisys provided. Hospice doesn't mean the end. It means extra help. Thank you to the entire team.

My Mom passed away on December 13th. My heart is broken in a million pieces. I am her daughter and was her.caretaker. When I chose Amedisys I knew from the beginning that I had made the right choice. The team was very compassionate and caring. From the liaison, social worker, the CNA’s, the nurses, the chaplain, they were nothing but professional and respectful to me and Mom during her last days here at home.

Amedisys Hospice provides “pure heart centered” care! I have experienced the patient and caring nature with which the hospice consultant talks to the niece of a patient who’s comfort matters more now than the aggressive treatment that no longer was adding value. I can definitely recommend Amedisys, and how easy it was to contact the office and schedule a nurse to evaluate a patient. Excellent “end of life” care- compassionate, heart-centered care.
