Everyone is welcome here! That is the first and most important point I want to make. Love Metropolitan Community Church (Love MCC) is very open and affirming of all races, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, those are physically challenged, and those looking for a place to call home! Pastor Wanda is a wonderful leader, and she ensures that all people who come to this church looking for Christ can find him and his love.
Additionally, there are many long-time members of the church who are warm and open and loving and affectionate! I have been to this church a few times, now, and each time that I set foot in the sanctuary, I always feel welcomed! No one, here, has ever treated me inferior to theirselves. Everyone is treated equally, here.
I can also tell you that the sanctuary, the kitchen area, the bathrooms, and even the exterior of the storefront are all always exceptionally clean! I have yet to visit this place and find anything to the contrary. There are never any cigarette butts, no trash, debris, bottles come or anything else inside or outside of the church! They do a very fine job of maintaining the space.
So, yes: you will see from the pictures and video I uploaded that they take great pride in this space! Unfortunately, I forgot to get pictures / video footage of the inner sanctuary. Trust me when I tell you that it is equally well-kept and maintained. It's a beautiful sanctuary with gorgeous purple/violet seats!

The church has moved to a new location at 2309 N Decatur Blvd. Ste A, LV 89108. The new leadership is working to correct past mistakes and is hoping to bring back visitors and past congregants. COVID Quarantine caused a lot of strife within the church, but it is being addressed. I recommend the services being upbeat and spirit-filled.

If you are looking for a country club, this would be your place. Friendly to your face and knives in your back. But not truly welcoming to all as shown through actions. This church does Sundays and not much community outside of that. The last 3 pastors left from burnout. If you volunteer, they will gladly push you to do more so they don’t have to. When you leave because of volunteer burnout, don’t expect them to reach out. Most people who do want a church home leave because of this apathy of the much congregation to do much of anything and burnout. Until they show in action that they want to be more than a Sunday hangout, I would visit other congregations in the city.

The church is currently going through some renovations but with their new building sketches I saw inside, this will make for a good place to attend church. They are still inside the building right now, but services will continue on property, when they have to start inside the building.
The Pastors Rob & David are spirit-led in their sermons and I like the way the musicians blend contemporary secular song with some of the old hymns, to make their own kind of new music. I heard a rendition of Peaceful, Easy, Feeling with Amazing Grace, and it was brilliant. Everyone I meet are super friendly and love to share Christ's love with everyone. I like it too because the church affirms and welcomes everyone to worship and to serve in the services. I saw many different individuals participating from all ages and backgrounds, as well as disabilities.
If you are looking for a non-traditional, open and affirming, progressive Christian church, you have found it here. They say, "You are Welcome here and You Are in the Right Place, and it is so true.
