When my brother passed very quickly we were lost and confused and not sure what to do about taking care of his body. We had gone to another place and they didn't have time for us. Brian Hudgel worked with my mother and me and took us through the paperwork and decisions that needed to be made with compassion, kindness, and grace. Hudgel's Swan Funeral Home cares deeply about one's loss. From the initial phone call to the pickup of ashes, every step was taken care of. I worked with Warren. He was kind, courteous, and professional and took care of everything. Their prices are comparable (and no price surprises) but their service is exceptional. I know they handled our son with utmost respect and care. At a time of deep loss and grief, their thoroughness lifted a part of this difficult process. I highly, highly recommend Hudgel's.

My mother passed away after a difficult battle with ALS. We had been referred to Hudgel’s Funeral by a close friend, who had used their services in the past. My mom was a firm believer in supporting local businesses and after speaking with Brian Hudgel’s he made us feel at ease and informed us on how he could help. Brian worked with us personally, giving us caring and professional service. His company gathered and sent out paperwork, relieving us of logistical headaches, and carried a large selection of urns so my family and I were able to find a lovely piece to enclose my mother’s ashes. Brian Hudgel was a Godsend after my husband passed away. He was kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable in what decisions I needed to make, even what Veteran benefits would be available for my husband. He had beautiful selection of urns, and gently guided me through the entire process. Previously, Hudgel's took care of both my parents when they passed, also with the same kindness and caring nature. It is the only funeral home I will take a family member too. Highly recommended.
