The Philadelphia Project

TPP is amazing! Great organization giving people the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus

I definitely think The Philadelphia Project should screen the people coming in to people's home more carefully. With one group that came to my house, I have an enormous amount of things missing. When I talked to the group leader on the phone, about some things being missing, she began to cry and said she was so sorry she disrespected my home. After that, I was so shocked that I began a search through bins for my things and found an enormous about of other things missing. They even went into my boxes with sensitive information such as social security number, bank statements, IRS info, money, etc. I was grateful for the help but heartbroken about the things I no longer have as a result of that group. I have been trying to work with The Philadelphia Project on a resolution for months. Now, I've been trying to meet with the Director, thus far, to no avail, no response from him as of yet. This must be resolved.

We had a great time last week at the Philadelphia Project. Got a chance to lift, clean, sort, organized and listened to life stories of how people saw themselves as blessed even in very challenging situations. For me, I got a chance to reset myself into a sharing space. I am feeling so much better! Thank you everyone at the Philadelphia Project. Kathy

The Philadelphia Project is where spiritual growth meets real impact. Through hands-on service—helping a widow with home repairs and working with a local church to bring life back to a neighborhood—I got to love Philly in practical, meaningful ways while going deeper in my faith. Every day, I saw worship, discipleship, and life in community shaping young people—including me—in powerful ways. This wasn’t just a trip. It was worship. It was work. It was family. All wrapped in a mission to love Philly like Jesus would. If you want your faith to grow and your hands to matter, this is the place.

Philly Project was an amazing experience for us this past fall and our church has nothing but positives to say about the entire experience. Great opportunity for students to work alongside each other and other churches to give back to the community. Looking forward to returning in the future!
