This funeral home is the best. Everyone, including Mike, was very polite and helpful with everything we needed to get and do for my best friend since third grade. They helped my best friend's husband and me feel positive and happy because they explained every process in detail, and our sadness felt like everything was going to be alright through these difficult times we were passing through. Thanks for everything you did for us and the family. I recommend this funeral home because they're not just regular people; they're family to us.

I used Genesee Valley Cremation for both of my parents—first for my mother, and then again just three months later for my father. After experiencing their care the first time, my father specifically requested that we use them as well, which says a lot about the trust they inspire. They are a family-run business, and it truly shows in how they treat you. Every detail is handled with care, compassion, and respect. During such a difficult time, I never felt overwhelmed or uncertain—they guided everything seamlessly so I didn’t have to worry. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to even the smallest details made a painful experience much more manageable. I’m deeply grateful for the way they honored both of my parents.

Michael at Genesee Valley Cremation was wonderful to work with. My mom was on in home hospice, when I contacted him. He was very easy to talk to & answered all my questions completely. The day my mom passed, I contacted Michael and he came to the house and took care of her with care and compassion. I still needed a few minutes with her and he let me say good-bye one more time. The pricing for just a simple cremation was reasonable. Highly recommend!

I would 100% recommend Genesee Valley to anyone. My husband passed very suddenly at a young 45 years old. I was a complete mess and had no clue where to even begin in this process. Michael was the sweetest man I have ever met, besides my hubby😊. He guided me through everything, answered any questions at any hour of the day and responded immediately! His father is just as sweet, and they both made me feel at ease, that my husband was well cared for. I can't thank Michael enough for being so kind, and so helpful.
