Avenues has been an incredible resource for so many people—including me. I can’t recommend Jackie Fairchild enough. She does an outstanding job and genuinely cares about the people she works with.

Working with Laura P has been truly life-changing. Over the past couple of years, I’ve faced some of the most difficult and overwhelming moments of my life, and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be where I am today without her support, compassion, and guidance. Laura has helped me learn how to understand, name, and process my emotions in a way I never thought was possible. Her approach is warm, validating, and honest—she meets you where you are while gently helping you move forward. I’ve grown so much emotionally and mentally under her care, and I’m finally starting to feel more grounded and connected to myself. She has also helped me navigate through my many ADHD struggles, and man do I struggle with that... Her ability to help me understand my ADHD, and how to cope has really been such a blessing. She creates a safe space where I’ve been able to unpack trauma, navigate anxiety, and truly begin healing. Her impact on my life has been profound, and I’m deeply grateful for the work we’ve done together. If you’re looking for a therapist who is insightful, supportive, and truly invested in your well-being, I can’t recommend Laura enough.

My therapist, Johni Fiber, has been nothing but professional and supportive in helping me work towards my therapy goals. Even in online sessions, she creates a warm, safe space where I always feel heard and understood. Her personal touch and genuine care make a real difference. I'm grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I feel incredibly lucky to have found my new therapist through Avenues of Counseling. From the very first session, I felt supported, understood, and safe. It’s clear that Avenues prioritizes creating a comfortable environment where real growth can happen. Since starting here, I genuinely feel like I’ve leveled up in my therapy journey. The insight and care I’ve received have helped me move forward in ways I hadn’t experienced before. I’ve already recommended Avenues of Counseling to friends, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a truly great therapy experience.

Our provider forgot who we were in our second appointment with her and obviously did not look at the referral or her notes before our session. She failed to take responsibility for her actions and instead had a sarcastic comment about how “we are all human” and frantically tried to figure out who we were without taking any time. Joselyn Vazquez did not value our time. I’m fortunate that my husband buys into therapy and that we will be able to find another therapist, but if your partner is on the fence this unethical treatment can end your marriage. Furthermore, when she did start to “remember” things they were incorrect and she did not complete any housekeeping the first session as we could not join from two different locations (which only happened because she scheduled us on a different date than what we agreed upon in our first session). I reached out to the office. It was right after we terminated the session in part because of how she was talking down to us and I was fairly upset. The only communication we have received is asking if we want to reschedule with another therapist. No accountability or action. I have waited a week and a half to hear back. Update a month later: still have not heard back from this practice. Filed a formal complaint against her license with the state licensing board for unethical behavior. All of which could have been avoided with some simple communication and accountability.
